- DDonnaSouth Carolina •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAn absolutely lovely evening. We started the evening with a Lemon Drop martini and a martini for the hubby. Very good. We began our foods with the Beef Carpaccio, excellent. The bread was substantial and very good with the Carpaccio. Sometimes it's too hard, this was great. The quail eggs were delicious. Rylie (sp?) our server helped my hubby decide on the Elk Tenderloin as he was undecided. I am so glad she did - WOW. One of the best pieces of meat either of us have ever had. I had the Filet and it was excellent. Overall, an outstanding experience and The Bluffton room has improved over the years to become a place to celebrate those special occasions or just to have the very good burger at the bar. Can't wait until next time!More infoThe Bluffton RoomPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Bluffton•4.9
- WWilliamSouth Carolina •302 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFirst rate top to bottom. Service in all aspects second to none in region anywhere outside New York. Benny was locally born, just 22 years old yet obviously well trained professional. Menu included several rarely seen in other establishments outside this area. Not inexpensive, but worth the splurge for special occasions like our anniversary tonight. Will return again and again. Well done Montage!More infoRiver House - Montage Palmetto BluffPrice: Very Expensive• American• Bluffton•4.8

Food was excellent (salmon dish and lobster/shrimp carbonara dish) and service was attentive. Decor is simple but the restaurant was full of people and quite festive. A real gem! Excited to return!More infoThe PearlPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Bluffton•4.8
- EEricVIPDetroit / Eastern Michigan •14 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024We had a good meal at Nectar. Both the Chicken and Waffles and Pork Chop were excellent- largely portioned, fresh, and well-prepared. Dessert was excellent as well, and we also enjoyed the in-house coffee. Serving staff was attentive. We plan on adding this to the short list.More infoNectar Farm Kitchen- BlufftonPrice: Moderate• South Carolina• Bluffton•4.5

Discover Bluffton
Historians believe that Native Americans and Spanish explorers threw the first barbecue very near Bluffton. The natives had the cooking know-how while the Spanish brought their pigs with them. Since then, the town's cuisine pedigree has only grown. Bluffton seafood platters groan under the weight of low country shrimp, crab, lobster, and catfish. Seafood restaurants are a large contender in the town's fine dining category, and they offer both local delicacies and more exotic catch flown in from the Pacific. The town has a nice mix of upscale and family-friendly for all three meals of the day. In addition to seafood and traditional Southern cuisine, you can find anything from Asian and Cajun to nationally known sandwich shops. Wash it all down with a mint julep or sweet tea, which was invented in South Carolina.
