Price: Expensive•Polish•4.8(3,908)Ognisko restaurant on Exhibition Road in the heart of South Kensington, is just a stone’s throw away from the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Royal Albert Hall and London Imperial College. Housed in the beautiful Victorian home of Ognisko Polskie club the restaurant is focusing on the cuisines eastern and Central Europe. The bar is open all day serving light dishes as well as mouthwatering desserts. Ognisko’s bar serves a wide range of fruit and spice -infused vodkas, classic cocktails and a small range boutique beers from regional Polish breweries. The restaurant can sit up to 80 guests together with a terrace overlooking communal gardens seating up to 40. There is also a large events space on the first floor available for daytime conferences, weddings and corporate events.Margaux

The French/Italian inspired menu includes seared foie gras, house made pork terrine, porcini risotto for appetisers and seared scallops, grilled veal rib and Barolo braised beef as some of the main courses. 100 bin wine list covers a broad range of producers and grapes, with an emphasis on old world wines. If you don"t want to stretch to a bottle there are over 25 wines by the glass and carafe. The dessert menu includes a dark chocolate plate featuring cocoa in 7 textures, passion fruit crème brûlée and amaretto sponge cake and a selection of house made ice creams. The weekend brunch menu features classic such as eggs benedict and eggs royal, smoked salmon, french toast with cinnamon ice cream.

Located on the 1st floor of Michelin House, captivating stained glass windows boast a beautiful setting to arguably one of the most attractive dining rooms there is.
Claude Bosi's cuisine is reassuringly simple, allowing ingredients to be highlighted by their own seasonal qualities.
He runs an immaculately presented kitchen, which provides a fascinating backdrop to the guests' dining experience.
The knowledgeable front-of-house team are guided by Lorenzo Bigicchi, and the wine list is curated between Claude Bosi and his head sommelier Elio Machiné.

Shellfish and seafood is the main highlight of the menu, but there are many other dishes to choose from too.
Sharing platters, family-style feasts and relaxed dining options are what we do best.
We have space to dine inside and outside. Our outside tables are situated both ‘streetside’ at the front of the building, and also within our semi-open patio. All tables are on a first-come-first-served basis only.
