- JJacquieVIPChicago / Illinois •13 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe stopped on the way home from the airport and continue to now go back whenever possible. It is 40 minutes from our home but definitely worth it. Great service. The bartender talked us into getting the cheese appetizer that they set on fire when they bring to your table along with the steak skewer appetizers. We put some steak (with the oil) and cheese on the pita bread and it is to die for. That could definitely be your full meal. Love this place.More infoJimmy's Charhouse - ElginPrice: Moderate• American• Elgin•4.3

Brought friends from out of town for their first visit and they loved it. We will all be back.More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Algonquin, ILPrice: Moderate• American• Algonquin•4.7
- KKennethVIPChicago / Illinois •30 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoThe Chicken Bacon Jam pizza was good, not great. The Burrata (sp?) cheese was dolloped on and covered the chicken and jam, obliterating the flavors of those two. I love their pizza crust. Service was a little slow, but VV seems to be chronically understaffed. However, the staff is long term, so we have gotten to know them and enjoy their service. I am a Wine Club member, so the meal is usually quite reasonable.More infoThe Village VintnerPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Algonquin•4.3
- JJeaneChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 28, 2024There were 4 of us for dinner. Food was great, we had salads, short rib ravioli with vodka sauce, spaghetti and meatballs, and rosemary chicken. With dinner we had wine & beer - everything was GREAT!!! For dessert, we shared chocolate cake with ice cream and tiramisu. Again, everything was GREAT! The restaurant looked beautiful with the Christmas decorations. Music was just starting when we left, sounded like FUN! We had a 5:00 reservation to fit a busy schedule. Savanah was our server and was friendly & attentive. We really enjoyed her! When we left, we ended up buying a gift certificate for $100 and got a $25 bonus as we will be coming back again for sure!More infoMoretti's - ElginPrice: Moderate• American• Elgin•4.3
