- LLindaVIPNew York City •23 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoPrices are very high and portions are very small. I dined with my significant other at Solo for an early dinner. Our service and food were exceptional. We shared a small beet, Gorgonzola and greens salad which was very good. The house bread was good also. I had my favorite dish of linguine with clams in a light broth with tomatoes. It was very good but again a very meager portion. You might see the thread that the food is good but the portions are really small. It’s hard to understand why they could not provide more pasta. My boyfriend with dietary restrictions had the halibut which was a tad overcooked with a few slices of potatoes and a few tomatoes. I did not like the gelato. Wine was fantastic. It’s a fantastic restaurant which is pricey and provides very small portions.More infoSolo ItalianoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Portland•4.7
- CChristinaVIPNew York City •14 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe dined again at Davids last night. We like sitting at the counter where you're able to watch all the action in the kitchen and see the meals as they get picked up by the servers. Husband loves the open faced lobster ravioli, nice and light creamy sauce. I had the Haddock special with the lemon bure blanc (sp?) sauce w/capers. It was really good. We will return!More infoDavid's RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Portland•4.7

- HHeatherGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024David's 388 is like being in a local favorite upscale pub, where all of your friends are close together, everyone's talking, and you're having the time of your life while being served amazing food. If you don't go in with friends, you leave having made new ones. I highly recommend sitting at the chef's dining bar!More infoDavid's 388Price: Expensive• Bistro• South Portland•4.8

Stretching 12 miles into the ocean and bordering Casco Bay, Cape Elizabeth is a seaside town located five miles southeast of Portland, Maine, that will not disappoint those looking to enjoy some fresh seafood. The restaurants here offer many tables with ocean views, where you can enjoy an iconic Maine dish: the whole boiled lobster.
