- GGeraldineGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoIt was our 37th Wedding Anniversary and when we were seated, along came 2 glasses of bubbly and a congratulatory greeting from our Server. We had a sensational 4 course meal and at the end of the meal we were again surprised by a gorgeous, complimentary dessert “warm donuts with ice cream and chocolate script “Happy Anniversary”! What an incredible restaurant and Staff. We have a reservation pre- New Years Eve celebration, with our daughter and partner. It’s her Birthday dinner and it’s a surprise right now. Known for eclectic flair and French overtones, Auburn, Maine is a city full of fresh seafood dishes, comfort food, and fine pastries. Of course, lobster mac and cheese is a staple in almost every restaurant, including the French bistros and gastropubs. Classic American seafood like buttered lobster and breaded shrimp are just a couple of the dishes you can try at one of the casual dining spots in downtown Auburn. Try Mexican dishes like Mayan spring rolls with avocado and red onions in pickling brine, served with cilantro sauce. You can also top nachos your way with toppings like chorizo, shrimp, pickled red onions, or scallions.
