Dante and his team are the new-kids on Moody Street, Waltham but old pros in the Boston area. Dante has been cooking in his home town of Abruzzo since 1979. His passion for cooking grew as explored the all the flavors and recipes of the Adriatic Sea which surrounded him. We are excited to bring our skills to Waltham where we welcome old friends and invite new ones to Vinotta Restaurant.
Vinotta Restaurant serves simple food made with fresh, wholesome, organic ingredients using locally sourced vendors. Flowing between classic and modern Italian favorites all made from scratch and sure to suit your palate. Domestic and imported wine selections to compliment food choices available for in-house and take out dining.

GUSTAZO is one of the very few authentic Cuban restaurants in the Boston area. Located at 240 Moody street, it offers traditional Cuban cuisine in a modern and inventive way. The ambiance is reminiscent of Spanish colonial architecture, with hand painted tiles, wall to wall pictures of old Havana and Spanish filigree motives.
Signature dishes include Slow Roasted Pork, Enchilado de Mariscos, Empanadas, Camarones al Ajillo and the luxurious Cuban flan.

Tempo offers downtown quality and atmosphere in a convenient suburban location on, Moody Street in Waltham known as "Restaurant Row". The menu features a wide variety of fresh seafood, great cuts of meat, chicken, duck, and truly has something for everyone. Tempo is excellent for a date, great for groups, and the bar is a perfect place for singles and people watching. The cuisine rivals higher-priced alternatives and the staff is welcoming and eager to please. The bar offers the largest selection around and the wine list pricing is the best in Waltham. We have a gorgeous private dining room that is perfect for events, corporate dinners, holiday parties and graduation celebrations. If you haven't visited us we promise you won't regret it!

Il Capriccio serves a constantly changing Northern Italian menu featuring local products with an award winning Italian wine and Grappa list. Though long considered a local secret, Il Capriccio has been the number one Northern Italian restaurant in Zagat's for the past seven years. The wine list has been featured in Decanter, Sante, Wine & Spirits and Stuff. The same menu is served in the Bar. We like to serve great food and great wine in a comfortable setting. For peace of mind in Covid time, our three brand new, state-of-the art, Mitsubishi air handlers employ MERV Level 13 filtration, just one step down from an operating theatre. We also have a patio for al fresco dining, reservable by phone only, weather dependent.

    Fantastic Dinner!! We had a wonderful time for our party of four. The food was amazing across the board. The bruschetta was the best we ever had. The pasta dishes were wonderful and rich and complex sauces. We would recommend highly!!

    This may be my new go to spot to catch up with friends! Easy ambiance, friendly (and fast) service that helped with suggestions for tapas. We shared the Cubano sandwich, creamy cauliflower, grilled octopus & fish tacos. All super yummy, served quickly & hot. Great tapas options & a great venue for conversation with a friend I hadn't seen in a few months. Virgin mojitos were also excellent! When I've been here before, it was really loud & difficult for conversation, but this time less so. Maybe because we were seated in the front part of the restaurant & had an early (530) Friday night reservation.
