He was happy to be part of our celebration, and shared his favorite recommendations on the menu. So many choices! We had spaghetti with Sunday Sauce, butternut squash ravioli, veal cutlets, salad wedge, freshly baked bread, and of course, wine. Everything was delicious. This restaurant really hits all the buttons. From melt in your mouth steak, fresh sushi and succulent lobster tails. Wait staff was excellent. Great vibe. Rising Sun is a village in Ohio close to the historic Fort Meigs Battlefield, which played a part in the War of 1812. This community is know for its family-owned pubs that feature Irish stouts and microbrews created in nearby breweries. The pubs serve up dishes with local ingredients like smoked cheddar and Swiss cheeses made from milk produced at Ohio dairy farms.
