Discover Durango
Having once been an on-site location for "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," Durango, Colorado, is known for its Old West charm. Southwestern cuisine rules supreme in many Durango restaurants, which serve steaks and other beef dishes due to the large number of cattle raised in the region. You can also enjoy a great selection of Colorado craft beers. In addition to high-end restaurants, Durango features a number of smaller cafes. These are often a great place to get a hamburger made with dry-aged Colorado beef. Lots of eateries in Durango have outside patios in beautiful garden settings, making them a lovely spot to soak up the sun and relax at the foot of the San Juan Mountains.
