- AAlecToronto / Ontario •1 review4.0Dined 4 days agoI loved the fondue, I enjoyed the chicken schnitzel (although I’m mystified as to why a regular schnitzel (which are made of pork) wasn’t offered), and loved the cheesecake. The risotto wasn’t great, but not bad per say. Nobody liked the vegan chocolate cake but it could simply be because we aren’t used to vegan cakes. If so, The fact there wasn’t a regular chocolate cake on offer on an alpine restaurant is an issue. There’s good value IF you’re in a large group, (we were 5) and 2 people order the special that includes everything and so 5ppl share the 2 fondues and 2/desserts, but it’s a bit expensive if you don’t. Staff was super friendly and attentive. I had an amazing experience (I had the schnitzel) , my mom didn’t like it as much (risotto), my brother liked it (schnitzel) and I don’t trust his wife’s opinion to assert that water is wet to include it lol. I loved the quiet and elegant atmosphere. I plan to return with my brother.More infoThe Pottery RestaurantPrice: Moderate• European• Collingwood•4.5
