Sway Thai - Austin
Price: Expensive•Asian•4.6(1,123)Sway is an award-winning modern Thai restaurant serving dinner and happy hour, led by Executive Chef Frank Harris.
Named one of Bon Appétit’s “50 Best New Restaurants in America” in 2013, Sway was also most recently voted “Best Happy Hour in Austin” by readers of Austin Monthly as well as “2019 Best Thai Food” by the Austin-American Statesman.
Sway West Lake Hills' location boasts a rooftop bar with skyline views of downtown, courtyard and full bar.Bob’s Steak & Chop House – Austin at Barton Creek
Price: Very Expensive•Steakhouse•4.6(757)At Bob’s you are treated like family. When you arrive at your table, the famous pickles come standard and a fresh, hot loaf of bread is delivered almost immediately for you to enjoy while you order your drinks and your meal.
Known for our filets, Bob’s only serves prime cuts of beef. They have more marbling and flavor than the choice filets most other steak houses serve. Bob’s dinners have always included their iconic, larger than life, glazed carrot and your choice of potato. It’s a tradition and a great value they are proud to offer our guests. One carrot with one prime steak at a time totaling, about three tons of carrots each week. It may seem silly for a world-class steak house to tout its glazed carrot, but once you’ve tried it, you’ll understand.
We consider sleeveless shirts on men, flip flops, boldly logoed athletic attire/gym attire, beach/pool wear too casual. We also ask that ball caps be removed while in the restaurant. Business casual ok.
Reservations are recommended.

Discover West Austin / Westlake
The awesome places to eat in the Westlake is one of the reasons Austin is considered a Texas jewel. Authentic American food abounds in Westlake. You can find Southern fried chicken, several steakhouses, and barbecue restaurants. Austin is also known for great authentic Mexican food and local creole specialty houses. Although the area is known for its casual atmosphere, fine dining restaurants are still available for those wanting an eloquent white tablecloth setting. Everything is bigger in Texas, and that includes the smaller locations like Westlake where the diversity of options is great and delicious food is a truly big business.
