It is pricy, but the ambiance was so nice I didn't think about it. - RRitaPittsburgh / Western PA •13 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI tiki my family here for dinner to celebrate my Grandson’s 4th Birthday. Everyone wished him Happy Birthday from the hostess to all of the servers. They brought him a dessert of four ice creams with a candle on each scoop. Now to the food - They were out of shrimp for the shrimp and grits so they substituted lobster for a small charge and it was delicious. The scallops were delightful, so tender and moist. The mussels appetizer was so savory. You have to get the biscuits. Cocktails were great, especially my margarita. Our server Elida was outstanding and very professional and kind. 5 STARS ALL AROUND.More infoBy George - AtlantaPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown•4.6

The Best Places to Grab a Drink in Atlanta This Summer
Though you won’t catch a local calling this city “Hotlanta,” there’s a good reason it earned that nickname—and it’s not just because of the muggy weather. Atlanta is a hotbed of exciting bars, consisting of laidback dens and sceney haunts. From lounges with award-winning cocktail programs and wine lists to taprooms with beers brewed on the premises, here are some of the bars most beloved by Atlantans.
Discover Downtown
Atlanta natives are hiding some secrets. Their beloved pimiento cheese, the pâté of the South, was invented in New York.[1] Can anyone prove that the first batch of fried green tomatoes was whipped up in Atlanta?[2] There are far more peanuts grown in Georgia than peaches[3], and frying was a West African innovation rather than a Southern one.[2] Traditional favorites still satisfy, but the Atlanta dining scene is enjoying more global influence than ever before. Buford Highway, which runs through the center of town, boasts 20 separate international communities.[4] As a result, you’re just as likely to find snow crab chawanmushi or mughlai paratha on the menu as shrimp and grits or fatback-fried catfish. Whatever you sink your teeth into, it will be served up with homey Southern hospitality.
