Service was fantastic and everyone made sure we felt special and enjoyed our dinning experience. Food was fantastic. Certainly not an inexpensive meal but well worth it.

It was our first time doing this since It was just 3 of us. It was well worth it. I was nervous about the food as I'm used to a very traditional celebration with greens, mac and cheese, ham, turkey and yams to name a few. They had turkey, prime rib, honey glazed salmon (I eat this all the time just not on this day), brussel sprouts, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, choice of salad (we had our favorite which is caesar, and butternut squash soup which was delicious. We also had 3 small desserts to include pumpkin pie (i never eat this but it was delicious), pecan pie and some sort of cake. They were small bites but enough to get full and all delicious. We also had spinach dip for an appetizer along with chilled shrimp. We had a great time. It's going to be hard not to do it again for Christmas or any other holiday.

Try By George, it's a quiet and refined dining experience. The Candler is a lovely hotel and By George is an excellent compliment to any stay. After a long day of driving in holiday traffic, my friend and I were ready to unwind. For medical reasons, we weren't drinking and the bartender made us delicious virgin mojitos. The crab cake and house salad with pickled peaches were perfect starters. I love the bolognese and the thought is a treat!

The combination of beautiful ambiance, amazing food, and reasonable prices has made this my favorite Italian place ever. I will never make another trip to ATL without making sure I stop in.

Atlanta natives are hiding some secrets. Their beloved pimiento cheese, the pâté of the South, was invented in New York.[1] Can anyone prove that the first batch of fried green tomatoes was whipped up in Atlanta?[2] There are far more peanuts grown in Georgia than peaches[3], and frying was a West African innovation rather than a Southern one.[2] Traditional favorites still satisfy, but the Atlanta dining scene is enjoying more global influence than ever before. Buford Highway, which runs through the center of town, boasts 20 separate international communities.[4] As a result, you’re just as likely to find snow crab chawanmushi or mughlai paratha on the menu as shrimp and grits or fatback-fried catfish. Whatever you sink your teeth into, it will be served up with homey Southern hospitality.
