The Two Sawyers is a 16th Century Inn recently refurbished and under family ownership. We pride ourselves on serving excellent beer and food. We have a large beer garden to the rear of the pub with over 30 tables for our guests to use for both drinking and dining. A character bar with log fires serving guest ales, beers, and wines. The restaurant serves traditional pub food twice both lunch and evening and all day on both Saturday and Sunday.

We make British food with a classic or modern slant. We source our ingredients from the local fields, woodlands and waters.     The food was outstanding and very well presented. The dining area is small but laid out nicely but the noise level grew as it got busier so if you require a quieter time then I would recommend a 6pm booking. Lovely to see how well they cater for allergies with an easy to read menu and alternatives. Overall a lovey place to eat and good value for money

    A thoroughly exceptional meal from beginning to end. The attention to detail and craft across all our plates was truly wonderful. The wine recommendations were spot on from a wine list that starts with a whole page of local wines. The staff were superb, clearly as passionate about the food and overall experience as we were.

    We had a bad experience at The George after the pandemic. So thought we would try again as we live locally. This time was fantastic with great food and service and it is so beautifully decorated. Our lovely Spanish waiter made us feel very spoilt, especially as this was our Ruby Anniversary. We will be back.
