Overlooking the historic Ludford bridge, just a few minutes walk from the town centre of Ludlow, the Charlton Arms is the epitome of a charming Pub. The kitchen, headed up by Krizstian Balogh, focusses on great British food and features a wealth of local produce. Fantastic pub classics feature strongly alongside accomplished dishes. Real Ales and local Ciders sit proudly amidst the eclectic selection of wines to suit every budget. To make the most of a visit to the Charlton, there are nine comfortable en-suite bedrooms. Our second visit to Jup Jup and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We took friends who were visiting for who Thai is their favourite cuisine and they were really impressed with the menu and the food. Nice wine list as well.

We were dealt with in a very friendly manner. The menu was small which made us feel confident the food would be of good quality. Our expectations were well met as the food, particularly the duck main, was outstanding. We couldn’t fault the main course at all, it was delicious and beautifully presented.

We dined here at lunchtime on Christmas Eve and were not disappointed. The staff were attentive and friendly, the food was amazing, especially my fish and chips! The pub had a lovely atmosphere too and we all agreed that it was a good choice for lunch.
