- MMariVIPChicago / Illinois •16 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe service from start to finish was wonderful. What an amazing and hardworking staff! We had several small plates to share and bread service with the garlic and oil - It was absolutely fantastic. Our entrees of pasta, Mahi-Mahi and Veal were perfectly done. We each ordered a dessert and played 3 - 2- 1 which is when each person tastes and then passes the dessert right - My favorite was the grilled pineapple - but raspberry bread pudding was the table favorite. We loved everything about the night.More infoLa TapaPrice: Very Expensive• International• St. John•4.6
- JJimVIPChicago / Illinois •29 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoChatting with a long time St. John visitor on the beach, I asked what his favorite restaurant was on the island. Without hesitation, he said “Zozo’s”. I quickly made a reservation for later that week and we were not disappointed. The setting — in the ruins of what used to be the posh Caneel Bay resort — is stunning. As the sun is starting to dip low in the western sky, Adirondack chairs right on the beach welcome you for a pre-dinner cocktail (and the cocktail menu is great). Once at your table for dinner, the service is friendly, professional and relaxed. As they emphasize, the table is yours for the night, so there’s no rushing through your meal here. We even got up in between courses and went for a short stroll. And the relaxed pace is great, because the food is outstanding and worth savoring. Everything we had was delicious — from the charcuterie to the entrees to the dessert, honestly no bad choices. Also a very nice wine list. The owner was on site welcoming guests, and he clearly knows how to run a top-notch restaurant. If you’re looking for a really awesome fine dining experience on St. John, you need to try Zozo’s. It’s worth the taxi/drive from Cruz Bay.More infoZozo’s at Caneel BayPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• St. John•4.9
- NNatalieCentral Kentucky •3 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 4, 2025We love Estera. They recently changed the short rib option on the menu - absolutely incredible - the meat was tender and seasoned to perfection, and the grits and broccolini were the perfect accompaniment. We tried the truffle mac and cheese for the first time, and holy schmidt - SO worth the calorie overload. The cocktails are great (just the right amount of dirty with my Tito’s) and the staff is ALWAYS on point.More infoEsteraPrice: Very Expensive• International• St. Croix•4.7
