Best restaurants near me in San Carlos Park, FL

While the food and service was wonderful Our arrival was not The restaurant was mostly empty on the New Years holiday. The manager was at the hostess desk He seated us. Walking our family of 5 to a round table by the patio doors and bus station. Since the restaurant was empty, simply asked for the beautiful round table in front dining space to which we were abruptly told no as it was reserved. We dined for almost 3 hours ….no more diners arrived. Why be dishonest to patrons? Why not try to accommodate? Why not welcome those in the restaurant making the choice to dine with you when there are so many other options in the area? Why not be appreciative of a family of 5? Clearly he knew based on the number of empty tables no one else was coming. A simple gesture, providing the desired table would have left all of us happier, but now, despite a beautiful meal and lovely server, the fact that the restaurant sat empty is the impression we left with. Was the manager more interested in getting us out? Or providing us a good dining experience?

We visited Conner's on New Year's Day for the first time in years and we had an excellent experience. Our server, Juan, was very professional and efficient (although the initial bar order took a long time). The food was very good. My filet was as good as any I've had and much less expensive than many other steak houses. We'll be back.

Great Italian restaurant. Pizza dough was excellent!

Our server Jhobessa was except! She was extremely attentive, pleasant and was a joy to have serve us. We were a party of 6 and 4 of us really enjoyed their meals ( gnocchi with short rib, linguini with shrimp, steak frites and filet minion.) 2 of us had the cod and that was fairly dry, but the sauce and orzo were very tasty. All in all, it was a good experience.

Everything was fabulous but I am not a fan of field weeds for my salad. It wasn’t posted on menu what the steakhouse salad had in it. I was hoping for iceberg with romaine. Dressing was great but not the leaf choices.
