Created Tom Hill and Clare Lattin of Ducksoup in Soho and Little Duck in Hackney, Emilia is their version of a small Italian Osteria (transported to the Devonshire countryside) serving seasonal, everyday Italian inspired dishes using locally grown ingredients. Loved everything about our time in Emilia, the food was exceptional as were the two front of house staff who managed the restaurant so competently throughout service. Highlights in no particular order: vermouth, ragu, pumpkin. Thank you so much

The only disappointment was that the rotisserie chicken was off, probably the main reason to visit the restaurant. However the food we did have was of a very good quality. Very good flavours, well developed. Overall a very enjoyable meal.

Beautiful venue with excellent food and service. The blue cheese soufflé was excellent as well as the duck rendang. Desserts were very clever and well presented. We must go back the next time we are in Exeter.
