   Great place to eat before a show at DPAC. The food is good, but table service always feels a little rushed (most likely because most folks are trying to get to the show. We ate here last night and advised our waiter we were in no rush and asked to put our apps in first and wait for our dinner order. The waiter insisted that we put the app and dinner order in together that way it would be timed out correctly. As we were eating the apps, the expo person kept looking over at our table waiting to bring the dinner. They came and cleared the app plates and brought our dinner at the same time. Will also note there were plenty of open tables, so we were not holding up anyone from getting a seat.

   Everything was amazing except, I felt like our server wanted us leave, he wasn’t that friendly and we actually felt like we were beneath him. It was unfortunate because we brought friends there for the first time! We will go back, but hopefully, we’ll have a different server🤷🏻‍♀️

   It was my husband’s birthday and we were going out for dinner and a show. It was once again a great and memorable dinner. The team at Nanas seems to work like a well oiled machine. The service was excellent.

   The food was delicious, delectable, and very well balanced in flavors. My favorite part was the passion fruit sorbet. It was amazing. The right balance of the sourness with the creamy was perfect. 10/10. The pastry chef did an outstanding job with the sorbet. It was the best dessert I had this year, and I mean that. I know I'm not going to have sorbet that good in a very long time.

   Outstanding! We had prime rib and it was cooked perfectly. The fries are awesome (and ample portion.) Always an A-one experience!

   as always the food and service were excellent - these days, I would say above and beyond since standards have fallen so far elsewhere! but we have a special story to relate that exemplifies what folks can expect at nanasteak - we had 5:30 reservations in order to have a relaxed meal and get to an 8:00 show at dpac - we drove in from zebulon, normally an hour away, and were stuck for an extra half hour due to a serious accident ahead - I tried calling a few minutes before our reservation and continued to call repeatedly since the calls went to voicemail repeatedly due to some sort of glitch in their system (I presume) - we were just going to hope for the best, knowing we would be there well past the cutoff time allowed by the restaurant through opentable - low and behold... someone from the restaurant called us to see what was going on when we were ten minutes late! - we suggested we would be happy even if we could just sit at the bar, and it was agreed that a high-top would be reserved for us in the likely event we couldn't get into the dining room immediately to be sure to be on time for the show - not only did that call from the restaurant surprise and assure us, but we were called back a few minutes later and were told not to worry as they had shifted things around and would have a regular table ready for us! AWESOME EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY AROUND ;~)

   NanaSteak is what a steakhouse should be! We each had the 6 oz filet mignon which was more than enough along with wonderful salad and sides to share! Our waitperson Grace was excellent.

    We always look forward to eating a Nana's Steak. Alice to great care of us. She is a gem. We all got the Prime Rib and it was awesome. The green beans and collards were great sides. We had a great time and shall return.
