The Thanksgiving menu was great. It had something for everyone’s taste. We stuck to a traditional turkey course which was outstanding. The portions were generous and the service was very good.

Lovely thanksgiving meal. The selections were ample and the food was delicious. Turkey was tender and juicy served with what tasted like homemade cranberries. Squash soup was outstanding and duck egg rolls were wonderful, too. Everything was just special and our server, Julienna (?), was so gracious and kind. We will definitely dine there again. And the historic, traditional aspect of the Inn are noteworthy. Lovely experience.

it's a hotel restaurant which is mainly there to feed their hotel guests. the Peri-Peri sardines were served still in the can which was bizarre and the shrimp and grits were not as creamy as they should be, and the rack of lamb was medium, not medium rare as requested. the service was excellent because there was nobody in the restaurant. Beautiful restaurant/ambience.

My husband and I had a getaway weekend in Washington DC and we stayed in Morrison Clark Hotel which was amazing location . First night we were so tired from busy day in the City and we decide to have dinner in Hotel restaurant . We had late reservation and we were only customers but dinner was amazing . We enjoyed our dinner until last bite . My husband had lamb chops and I ordered crab cakes . We couldn’t stop talking next day how everything was so good. Service ,food presentation ,side dishes ambience and of course food taste . Also very reasonable priced. We didn’t think twice where to go next day for dinner and we made reservation for the same restaurant . Again , dinner was outstanding . Hotel and restaurant made our getaway very memorable ❤️

Loved the restaurant for lunch during restaurant week. Not so much for dinner a week later. The waiter had to be reminded to bring us what we requested, the fish was on the well-done side instead of just cooked, the rice was generous but the sauce was not, no butter or oil with the bread. In short, we were disappointed after having such a good meal with good service the week before.

Restaurant week menu was excellent. Each of the 3 of us chose each of the 3 entrees and all were delicious. Absolutely elegant decor of the restaurant. The wait staff was top notch.

It's been years since we went to Morrison Clark, and we were surprised (and pleased) to see that the hotel and restaurant have expanded and are even more attractive. We were there on a Monday for lunch -- a quiet day --and enjoyed everything we tried. The house salad was delicious -- not the usual boring dressing but a snappy vinegar-forward number that really set off the greens. We loved the ahi tuna plate. But the dessert was the highlight: excellent chocolate cake and a bread pudding (with raisins) that we couldn't stop talking about. It won't be years before we return.

Look no further. Go to this restaurant, located in a boutique hotel just one block from the Marriott Marquis Hotel and the Convention center. Food was first class in presentation and taste. Cooked perfectly. Very elegant decor in the dining room along with first rate service. Has valet parking, which I didn't need so cannot comment on. We would definitely return to this restaurant.
