   Morimoto never disappoints. Recently dined in for my 2 year anniversary. Our waitress was phenomenal and attentive. We ordered the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, Koji Salmon, Chirashi Bowl, and some select pieces of Sushi. everything was fresh, delicious, and executed flawlessly by their chefs. The Lychee #1 and Heart of Glass are great cocktails and paired well with our dinner. For dessert, we ordered the Tamari Chocolate Mousse and Chef's Seasonal Dessert (which was a Raindrop Cake). Both were really tasty and a good end for the dinner. We were surprised and delighted by the restaurant giving us a complimentary dessert and 2 flutes of champagne with raspberry sorbet to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you again for the amazing experience, we hope to be back soon!

   Second time dining here and both times, the service was outstanding. The servers’ attention to detail really made the dining experience feel special. Little things, like removing straw wrappers from the table, set this restaurant apart from others. The food was excellent. We ordered five different sushi rolls, which were the best we’ve ever had. The attention to detail in each roll was impeccable. Finally, our server went out of her way to make our celebratory dinner extra special.

   Amazing food, loved the chef’s selection of sashimi and rolls. We split the ramen and they were helpful to put it into two bowls. Also got the hot stone wagyu and would have eaten two more if I had ordered them. The clarified milk punch cocktail was so good, and I probably would have ordered a second one as well, had the drinks come out earlier. We were done with our appetizer + ramen by the time the cocktails made it to our table, despite ordering them with the rest of the food at the start of the meal. Bummer. We asked for new plates for the main, too, and they weren’t replaced, either. Idk why the service was a little iffy; it wasn’t too busy but perhaps the server was slammed in their section. Would go back, either way. Classy vibes, good for a date.

   Food was good for the most part (sushi disappointing), cocktails were well crafted, but the service we received was poor. Generally felt we were not well looked after, and there was a delay for main course, then one main course arrived at least 10 minutes after everyone else’s, with no explanation.

   Very overpriced for ordinary sushi and sushi roll, they tried not at all to make it even a bit better than Neighborhood sushi joint . The sashimi however was ok. The seasonal fish were smelly and not very enjoyable. I am done with Morimoto

   Another amazing dinner at Morimoto, Philadelphia! The food was wonderful and creative. Service is always the best and the interior vibrant yet peaceful. One of our favorites!

   Our waitress and bus boy were absolutely amazing an efficient. The restaurant has a nice relaxing ambiance and I could easily hear our conversations. Unfortunately we got the morimoto omakase 9 course meal. It kind of went down hill from there. The first meal was fantastic. The next 4 courses were either down right terrible or just okay because they were not rounded out and tasted as if something was lacking. One of those meals we took 1 bite and had to stop. The 6th fish course had multiple bones in it and the compacted cylindrical greens were questionable. The 7th duck course was slightly over salted but good, however the stone cold mushrooms and sweet potatoe on the side were disappointing. The 8th nigiri plate was very good. The dessert was jelly which was just fine. Overall paying $165 per person to only like 2 courses was ridiculous. Our amazing waitress gave us a free California roll as we were still a little hungry. I would recommend the sushi and the persons steak next to us looked amazing but I would highly avoid the omakase. There was a poor gentleman next to us who got the same thing but a few courses behind. It was sad watching him get so excited and appear to have the same reaction as us.

    Great service! Wish the menu was larger not many options. Not a fan of their miso soup
