Clearly the best meal out over the 8 nights we spent in the desert. This restaurant is run well, and the owner is continually engaged. Our drinks, apps, entrees and desserts were all great. I was so pleased that I told the owner before we left. This place never disappoints.

This very popular, long-standing bastion of neighborhood dining is clearly a happening spot for long-time visitors. We, on the other hand, did not see the allure: with the exception of the great sushi, our entrees were average: typical steak prep, salads were meh, ahi tuna was not fresh and accompaniments (bed of chopped cabbage? white rice scoop with sad lima beans on top?) were unappealing. Service was very attentive and efficient. Ambience was rowdy and happy, filled with diners definitely celebrating. I can see why it's popular, but not for us.

Sushi rolls are creative, the scallops with black rice were delicious. Best lamp chops and the bread pudding was perfectly cooked with nuts and brown sugar with ice cream and whipped cream.

Our first, but not last experience at Mitch’s. Crab cakes were scrumptious, beet salad was out of this world. Sea scallops were tasty and tender. Our server, Lauren was the best! Attentive, not intrusive and always with a smile. Kudos to the entire staff!

Hi George, we are confused about your two star review. We had weather issues on the patio on this day due to the rain so all of our reservations had to be moved indoors which caused us to move around every one, you were not treated any differently than anyone else that night that had a reservation with us. You reviewed us based on the food/value/service but decided after we sat you at the table available you wanted to leave so it doesn't really seem fair you would provided negative feedback in those areas. We do our best to provide the best service to everyone but weather changes our out of our control and we do what we can to best satisfy each and every guest that walks through those doors, it's a top priority.

Vibrant restaurant with great service and very good food. The acoustics though - way way too loud - and this criticism was from patrons who were not hard of hearing!
