Karen server was friendly and attentive. Pancakes bacon hash browns all good. Chicken apple sausage flavorful but overcooked.

Food was not bad, a bit overpriced for the quantities we got. Very nice environment as it’s decorated for the holiday. That was the main reason we are here.

Artichoke and spinach dip was served cold, ‘had to return and was replaced. Main dish - steak and chicken were so-so. But, enjoyed the fabulous hotel lobby decorations.

The food was delicious but the service was slow and they never refilled the water. The cocktail came half way through the meal.

I have been going to the Mission inn for years. I take my father as a tradition every Xmas for the Festival of Lights. Normally we have a wonderful meal, This year I literally got sick after eating and had to run to the bathroom and puked twice. Clearly the corn chowder cuz it came right up, I told the manager after they charged me full price for the meal and he offered to take the soup and a appetizer off but really the meal should of been comped since I puked it all up. I have Never had this experience and it ruined my whole night as I felt terrible after and my dad is elderly so it was super stressful. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. They are slacking and going down hill on service and food quality.

The mission was decorated beautifully for the holiday and all of the servers and staff were very nice. However when I made the reservation I was unaware that it was a buffet only at this time of year. The buffet was like standard mid-level wedding buffet food. A variety of meats, sad salad with croutons and two types of dressing, mashed potatoes and rolls. I am a vegetarian so my dinner was salad bread rolls and mashed potatoes for $75. My husband got meat but still $75 was about twice as much as the meal should have been. The dessert was included but it was not good. I’m glad we went but we would definitely never go again.

Christmas time on Fridays and Saturdays is a buffet dinner. When you reserve on Open Table that is not clarified. We arrived and we’re surprised with this. The host asked if we were aware and also asked others in line so apparently this is a common occurrence. They did not have availability outside under the Xmas lights, had to sit inside. The buffet was absolutely disappointing. Save your money and go to a cafeteria somewhere because that is the level of food. $400 for four of us at a buffet and not seated in the Xmas patio. It was the worst experience ever. The restrooms have not been updated at all, 4 stalls with one out of order for the lobby with two restaurants and two bars. Ridiculous. It is no longer a light festival it is an overcrowded, kids carnival atmosphere. Very sad to see this sink so low. Will never return. The Inn does not care about poor reviews, they are posted but ignored.

Love the place was very beautiful specially during Christmas. The food wasn’t great and unfortunately our server was very inattentive. But overall we very much enjoyed our night out. Definitely would go again during Christmas for the ambiance.
