The word ‘Miijidaa’ is from the Ojibway language that loosely translates to “let’s eat”. It's a celebration of our roots, foods, wine + brews; a chance to showcase cuisines that influenced our culinary landscape and to show off our northern bounty.

There are many influences in what has come to define "Canadian" cuisine starting with the First Nations, followed by the influences of the French, English, Vikings, Portuguese and more. Our menu is a modern take on our northern gastronomic history with each cuisine and tradition inspiring the tapestry of our culinary landscape that we hope to celebrate on our menu.

I have been to Miijidaa several times. In previous visits the food has been 10/10. This particular visit it was not quite so. I have a few favourites and it seems like the recipes have changed since last there. I still recommend but will consider something different next visit.

We recently celebrated our anniversary at Miijida. We were so well taken care of by all Service Team members who we engaged with! The little extras were above and beyond our expectations. Great food, wine, service and value. We'll be back for Date Night ;)

We went for our first date night in a long time and our experience was lovely! First time eating here. We got the fried goat cheese and crostini for an app- this was probably our favorite course, we can’t stop talking about it! We got pizzas for the main- a potato pizza with no bacon and the mushroom pizza, both wonderful and we had enough to take home and have for lunch the next day. Potato pizza would prob be elevated by some of the house made hot sauce. We got a sticky toffee pudding that was good, but was excellent paired with the white chocolate rosemary espresso martin. We also had a peach cardamom cocktail and a lavender lemonade with dinner that were excellent. Overall a wonderful time! Pricey, but what isn’t these days.
