Alfred's is a pop-up restaurant brought to you by Dose Coffee. Our aim is to provide exceptional hospitality, service, food and drinks in a casual, fun and intimate atmosphere. Alfred's is a place to come as you are and enjoy everything from a glass of wine & homemade focaccia to a multi-course dinner with family & friends.
The kitchen is led by Head Chef's Ivan Blackwell and Brad Johnston with a focus on Italian inspired cuisine that's designed to be shared. However, we also won't mind if you'd just like to enjoy a bowl of gnocchi all to yourself! The bar is led by founder, John Pierce, who has carefully curated a list of old world wines alongside classic cocktails with a twist.
We are a small and intimate restaurant so large dining tables are limited to 6 people.
Alfred's is the place that we wanted to go to but it didn't exist; so we've created it. Enjoy.

Our building is crafted from fieldstone and 100-year-old reclaimed barn wood and our cuisine draws on those elemental roots. We integrate natural cooking methods like our wood-fired grill fueled by timber from local orchards and seasoned barrel staves. The result is honest, confident, and approachable food that unites flawlessly with CedarCreek wine.

Discover Vancouver

A jewel of the West Coast, British Columbia’s capital city is known for its pristine seafood, modern architecture and stunning backyard mountains. Dungeness crab, wild salmon, dim sum, and creative fusion cuisine are popular picks among Vancouver’s culinary kaleidoscope. And as the birthplace of West Coast Modernism, Vancouver is a leader in sustainable design and philosophy. It comes as no surprise that responsibly sourced, local foods fill the plate, too.
