Polo and Stephanie opened Meadowsweet together in 2014 and they see it as an extension of their home. They both enjoy good food, friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere to dine in and that is exactly what they want their guests to experience when visiting Meadowsweet. When they are not at Meadowsweet you will find them upstate at Meadowsweet Farm with their daughter and son where they grow some amazing vegetables with Polo’s Dad to serve at Meadowsweet. Dinner for our wedding anniversary. Delicious food, original combinations of ingredients to make unique taste sensations. The service was very attentive. I would just recommend they over free homemade bread (ideally wholemeal or baguette).

Meadowsweet was everything I hoped for and more. I had one of the tastiest Bloody Marys ever and we both ordered the duck pastrami with poached eggs, roast potatoes, pesto and greens. We shared their signature doughnuts with caramel sauce. The people who work at Meadowsweet are sunny and sweet and you feel better having met them. The layout and decor is soothing and I am short of moving in. This was a lovely introduction to Brooklyn and we'll definitely be back.

Very, very good food. My problem was that three people at a table had to lean into the center to be heard. No possibility of an ordinary conversation. I woke up hoarse this morning for trying to compete with the din. All three of us agreed that the noise level was far too high. This would be a NO REPEAT dinner spot for me.
