Maynard’s is locally owned and operated, and prides itself in giving back to the communities it serves. Known for the best views of Lake Minnetonka and the best waterfront dining in the state, Maynard’s is a place everyone can enjoy. Our American Casual menu is sure to suit even the most specific appetite, and our bar area is a great place to gather for the big game and enjoy our award winning happy hour.

Maynard’s is a place the locals can call home while still serving as a main tourist attraction of the Twin Cities Metro. We pride ourselves in a quality product at a fair price, but believe our consistent service and attention to detail (even amongst the big summertime crowds) sets us apart.

    Maynards is always bustling and fun. Saturday was a busy night and our wait was extended an additional 15 minutes. When our "buzzer" was called, the hostess apologized because she had just given our table to someone else. We waited another 10-15 minutes and when we saw two parties of 3 get seated who had not been there as long as us, we inquired and got seated right away. The poor hostess was trying but she was stressed and very apologetic. Our waitress was great. The kitchen was cranking out food on time despite the volume of people. A big thank you to the bar for having non alc beer available for our dry January. One change that would be nice - we sat in booths in the middle and the tables are really high. It was awkward and not comfortable. We love booths but we felt like children, sitting so low. No more booths for us at Maynards.

    We have frequented Maynard’s for years. This is the second time we’ve gone with a reservation and have had to wait 15-30 minutes for our table. Will be reducing our visits now.

    We were a party of 4 women together to celebrate one's birthday. Our server was Nicole, and she was simply AWESOME. She was attentive, friendly and very well trained. She was a big help offering to go boxes to get our extras home. Nicole is THE BEST SERVER EVER!

    We were seated 30 mins after our reservation. Our server was inattentive and we could not even get a refill on our drinks. Food came out quickly but was lukewarm and the portions were smaller.

    Beautiful place, our server was lovely. I was so looking forward to some delicious French Onion soup, until it came out, with some cheese that was not Gruyère! I have seen this recently, in a lot of other restaurants too, and I’m not a fan. I know it’s cheaper to use mozzarella, or other cheese, but it is not Gruyère, and it was very overly salty.
