   I found the food to be very average, not nearly as great as I expected it to be. Neither the burrito or the chimichanga had much flavor. Now, the beans that came with the burrito were wonderful. The staff were fine. Not a restaurant I would return to.

   Delicious food in an intimate setting, we enjoyed our blue crusted trout and ribeye as well as the pork belly, though we were disappointed that they were out of one of the key ingredients in that dish - the peaches. As with many things in life, it was the simple things that made our experience top notch, the mouth watering assortment of breads in the bread basket, and the staff. From the moment we walked in, the staff was attentive, kind and worked collaboratively to achieve an overall vibe that felt at ease, and like they've known you for years. Bravo Luminarias! We'll done.

   We had three entrees- halibut - not much flavor or spice, half a chicken - pretty food and a ribeye which was overcooked, tough and grainy. Service was ok but not very attentive or informative.

   Carlos provided excellent and attentive service. He is congenial and not intrusive. The food, as always, was superb.

   Luminaria is elegant, extremely quiet facilitating intimate conversation, and most delectable offering perfectly prepared halibut. The server took great care for our dietary constraints and consulted quickly with the chef. We also appreciated the short walk from this fine restaurant to the Cathedral for the Christmas chorale concert.

   meal and dessert were excellent. waiter was friendly and around enough. lovely atmosphere. bit of a cold draft through the resturaunt though.

    I love the feeling of having a restaurant "all to myself" during the holidays. I was seated to the side, which I prefer. The only other table in the room was a group of four older women who were talking politics. That in itself was entertaining. I tried not to eavesdrop too obviously, but they were going great guns. Maria, my wait-person was attentive, friendly, but not in my face. I had the chilaquiles with brisket, which was just right for that afternoon. A glass of white wine rounded it out, but then I splurged and mad a Mexican coffee my dessert. I love the location, and it would be wrong of me not to mention the parking attendant, Ann, who was quick, polite, and had a good sense of humor.
