Oysters are amazing! Bread and butter is delish. Fries are good. Not the place to go to get full. Not the most updated ambience compared to other Healdsburg spots. Go for oysters and a drink.

This is a wonderful experience on all levels, food, graciousness of staff, ambiance; I literally started responding to the waiter in French without thinking about it! So close to actually being in a bistro in France. The food is perfectly prepared and over generous in amount, I'll actually have a second dinner tonight with the leftovers. But mostly, it's about having the genuine experience of all I love about Paris in my home town of Santa Rosa. Thank you Marc and staff! You'll become my regular go-to for my weekly treat.

Our server, Hector, was stellar in every respect and added so much to the experience of dining. Chef surprised my husband, whose birthday we were celebrating, with a beautiful flan at the end. Ceviche was fresh and delicious with delicious corn tortillas I requested instead of tortilla chips. Portions were generous and had enough left over to take home.

This was our second time dining at Dry Creek Kitchen and we loved it every bit as much as the first time, maybe even more. We had a wonderful experience with Valette. My husband and I did the tasting menu. I need a gluten free meal and my husband doesn’t. Normally we are served both gluten free or I am missing half the meal. At Valette they thoughtfully prepared us different courses so that we are both enjoying the best they have to offer. It was such a nice surprise and delicious. When we are in the area we will be back!

I think because it was Jan 1st perhaps they were short staffed. Everything was beautiful. The food was great. We did have to ask for our waiter to pour the wine when we’d waited awhile with empty glasses. We will still be back.

This rating is for our wine tasting experience. We didn't have food but I couldn't leave rating blank so gave an average rating of 3 stars (good). Owner/Winemaker Chris was our sommelier and he was very personable. We enjoyed Chris' stories about how he got into the winemaking business and the inspirations behind each wine we tasted. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Sonoma County wine country!

La Gare is a wonderful choice for dinner out with friends. The menu is tried and true and the “specials” are always worthy. The wine list is certainly representative of a community that prides itself on world class wines. Perhaps best of all is the service—always attentive but never obtrusive.

We'll be sad to see this place go! We asked why the limited Menu today, and only as of 11am and the servers told us they're closing River Vine down in 2 weeks after the actual John Ash restaurant is done with construction updates. The full menu supposedly will return then, and I sure hope there will be a Patio again too - walked by the back and it looks like there will be. River Vine has awesome servers and upon asking they said they're safe, will be transferring to JA.
