The food and staff were good. We did the preset Menu for the theater so it was a faster meal but they did not rush you. The restaurant sits above and around the main floor of the casino. So it is louder than average

We were running a little late and we called the restaurant. They were lovely and held the table for us. Loved the ambience. Moody lighting. Candles. Loved it all. As far as our server he was outstanding! Very attentive and helpful with our questions. The FOOD! Oh my gosh! It was fantastic! Will return with friends. Best meal out I’ve had in a very long time. Food was delicious and perfect. Service was attentive but not in your face. Overall just perfect. Shame I don’t live in London or would definitely become a regular place to visit but will definitely be back when next in London.

Popular place with an excellent vibe. The cocktails were well made. The tacos were most impressive, with some of the best corn tortillas I have ever had; the chicken tacos should be top of your list of items to try.

This was my second visit to The Sussex,the first being two months ago.I once again can not fault the service which on both occasions I’ve found it to be efficient,friendly,warm,welcoming & knowledgeable.On this my second visit i didn’t enjoy the food quite as much as i had on my first visit.We chose the Local And Wild Set Menu,which is what i had thoroughly enjoyed on my first visit,and there was nothing wrong with any of the courses served but possibly some of the dishes were less interesting to my palate this time….But it was still a very good experience,my guest loved it,and we will definitely return. I ordered a bottle of their Nutbourne Vineyard Blush rose to enjoy with our meal and we both really enjoyed it and thought it to be excellent value.

I went through four annoying verification steps to write this review and I would have gone through ten more. One of those nights that just makes your week. Deep fried parsnips, sweetbreads, pork cheeks and steak. Just wonderful. Were treated with such courtesy and care. Deeply appreciated.

The staff were so welcoming and always attentive. The bar and decor is so beautiful and the food was delicious. Espresso martini was one of the best we have ever had. We are looking forward to returning.

Great venue for watching the Rugby, all tables had good views of the screens, waiter drinks and food service which you could order from your phone, great atmosphere and tasty food at a good price. Wouldn’t hesitate to go again.
