This is a favorite place for a family member's birthday. Every time we go, I'm struck by how much we all enjoy the experience. We typically get an alpine cheese and a cheddar cheese, some salads (the strawberry almond is delicious), one oil entree and one broth entree, and sometimes add on a chocolate fondue. Note: you don't really need to buy a full portion for each person if you're eating more than one course. There are 6 dipping sauces to choose from. My favorites are the plum-ginger, the blue cheese, and the curry -- which unexpectedly also mix together really well! Many in my family also love the green goddess, and one loves the teriyaki. They had some delicious cocktails for dry January as well. It's increasingly rare to find a quiet, cozy restaurant like this, so that's a distinct advantage as well. Once, we were initially seated in the bar area, which was not nearly as cozy as the main area -- brighter and with a giant picture window looking at the bleary parking lot -- so we asked to be moved to the regular, cozier area and were happy.

The Palette Bar and Grill was an overall wonderful experience with fast and friendly service, fun drinks, and delicious food. I went early evening on a Saturday and it was nice and quiet with several seats available at the bar and many open tables in the dining room. It was a very nice date night experience and I would definitely recommend.

My first visit here. The menu has many choices besides the pizza. We both had pasta dishes and they were both excellent. It was my birthday and they had a very nice, complimentary, birthday dessert. Prices were very moderate. I will definitely be back.

Love the cozy fireplace. Out of our party of 6, two people reported their meat was a little dry. The wings were excellent. Great service from Dominique and supporting staff. Overall very good experience and we’ll be back.

We came here for my son's 23rd birthday. It was a weekday evening and we were seated before our reservation time. Our server was very friendly and made sure to explain everything about our dining experience. Everything we tried was perfect. It was worth the 1 hour and 20 minute trip to get here. I dine here once/month when in town visiting my mom. The food and service are consistently good and the specials change frequently enough that I'm never bored with my options. I particularly enjoyed the poached jumbo prawns with pomegranate "caviar" on top of a luscious creamed spinach sauce. The prawns were perfectly cooked, moist, and flavorful. The "caviar" accentuated the sweetness of the prawns and the sauce was divine. I didn't understand the need for the alfalfa sprouts on top. The dish would have been fine without them. I also really enjoyed the holiday old fashioned I had as an after dinner drink. The mulled fruit and bit of port wine made for an interesting and slightly sweet variation on the classic southern version. Another fine meal and I've made my reservation for my next visit already.

Cheese curds. Burgers, shakes and s’mores. Stick to these top 4 and you’ll be happy! My daughter liked her Avocado BLT (hold the bacon) and cheese curd burger and patty melt on point. Fries were the best out of the tots and the chips our group had. Yes, pricey on the drinks and apps side but it’s sold and a dependable experience the kids look forward to yearly especially the shakes and s’mores
