Birks is our go-to steak house. We've noticed that the prices have increased, and they are now charging for what used to be a complementary bread basket. Corkage used to be $30 a bottle and now $40 a bottle. It's still our favorite steak house, but maybe we won't be visiting as much

Love the new menu! Food is always super fresh and tasty. We had a margherita pizza, tuna bowl and curry entree. Delicious and great service as always. Look forward to exploring their new drink menu when 'dry January' is over!

Sleek and modern with one foot firmly in the Old World is the feeling at Perbacco. The restaurant boasts a brick wall original to the historic 1913 Hind building, with other touches such as a bar top and floor tiles made from white Carrara marble. With 16 seats at the bar and 7 more intimate tables, Perbacco creates an atmosphere for a glass of wine or a light bite. Perbacco also features 2 dining rooms, one on the main floor and a smaller one on the Mezzanine, which has the added allure of serving as "theater", with windows to watch all the action in the kitchen below. Chef Staffan Terje strives to cook the finest food reflecting the Italian regions of Piemonte and Liguria. Handcrafted, house-made salumi, prosciutto and other charcuterie are not to be missed. The Christmas Eve special event dinner was very good. The food was creative and they were very helpful dealing with a dairy intolerance issue. It was a it pricey, but worth it.

Our experience was, as always, delightful. From the reservation process online, and calling the host/ess to say we were running 5-10 minutes late through paying our bill, everything was fabulous. Servers and expeditors/support staff are top notch! Personable, knowledgeable, efficient, accurate, and responsive. Even servers we have had before (but were not assigned to us) greeted us warmly and chatted briefly. The food was exceptional. My hubs and I split a special - rotisserie smoked New York steak and the romaine salad. Our grand had the kids rotisserie chicken. Everything was delivered hot and delicious. Bread, minced garlic, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar are always a hit. Water glasses were always topped off and cocktails and wine were perfect. Love the ambiance and various places to sit (outdoors, garden room, bar, dining room, and now it appears there is a bar facing the kitchen. Consistently great.

The Brass Door, formerly known as the 8/5 Club, was established by Howard Schlesinger in 1946. It was originally a six-stool bar and 20-person dining facility. Schlesinger's son, Mickey, and his partner Dick Basso bought the club in 1955. Soon after, they renamed the club The Brass Door. Over the years, the partners expanded the facility to include a 20-stool bar, 50-seater cocktail lounge and a dining area for 160 guests. Following a brief closure in 1994 due to a fire, the restaurant was rebuilt from its original location.

The restaurant looks like it hasn’t been remodeled in 40 years but the space is clean and pleasant. Old school charm. Acoustics were good. The service was excellent, friendly, prompt and efficient. The prime rib was delicious.

A while back, I cannot book reservation on Open Table app the time we wanted but I still booked at a later time. The hostess Daria was so accommodating when I asked to change our table to a better view of the water. The server was nice explaining the good red wine on the menu according to my liking. I ordered the recommended Meiomi red wine. It was light to my taste which was good. My friends got white wine and Irish coffee. For starters we ordered the Horseradish Deviled Eggs with Bacon and tasted good. My friends ordered the same Crab Cake Benedict and Classic Eggs Benedict. I got the Pan Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops over the risotto. The whole food was delicious. The interior ambiance was beautiful. The service was superb. A few times I visited the restaurant in the past and I don’t mind returning for occasions or just to hang out with girl friends. I recommend The Trident restaurant even it’s a drive to Sausalito from different angles of places.

We were early for our reservation and as soon as we walked in we were helped by the staff, I do appreciate the time they take to check on their guests, and if they need anything else. The crab cakes were off the hook! And our lasagna dish as well as the fettuccine we had was delicious. Not to mention their bread! Super fresh, soft and yummy!!! Thank you

Came in for my birthday dinner with the family. Yu’s was packed out on a Thursday nite. Took them a while to get service to us but we weren’t in a hurry. Drinks were ordered and came super quick - dim sum order and was delightful - we try to get something different (our second time here so we’re still exploring the menu). Duck spring rolls were brilliant - sea bass puffs were outstanding. Mains ordered - triple crown was nice but a little underwhelming. Garlic noodles and the spicy aubergine were on point. Liking this place more every time we come - we’ll be back!
