Great experience... delicious food..service was excellent. We were placed in room off of main dining room where it was quieter. Main dining room was a little noisy. So we appreciated the quieter room. The only thing I would say that could have been better is that the bread served was NOT already in small slices.... You kinda had to tear off a piece and it was not USER friendly.. They could take a lesson from Landry's Seafood Restaurant in how to serve the bread at the table. Other than that, all was outstanding. We had the octopus appetizer....the BEST octopus appetizer I have ever had and we have tried MANY. The steak was perfect and the salmon was outstanding! The valet parking is kinda tricky...cuz it is on McKinney city street and with a lot of traffic, the valet area really tends to "bottle neck"....so better to go really early or really late for dinner... WONDERFUL anniversary dinner! Our table was covered in rose petals and everyone of the staff who took care of us wished us made mention of our special occasion. Our server was AMAZING and attentive. Their steaks are THE BEST! For appetizers, try the Pork Chop bites-SO GOOD! Spectacular AS ALWAYS at Chama. I worked as a Fed and lived and worked in our embassies in South America Have been in every country in S.A. and I developed a love for churrasquerias from Brasilia, to Rio, La Paz, Cochabamba, Bogota, Quito, B.A., you name it and my favorite of all was Antofagasta. That said, once back in Houston I initially raced to a competitor (Fogo) many years ago. The quality there in the early years was excellent but became progressively worse…particularly server attitude and food quality. It added up to, at best, maybe a three. After my last trip to Fogo, I swore I wouldn’t return to their 66 destinations in the U.S. And so for Chama Gaucho, I ate there tonight….third time in a month. Ten star food, ten star service: Extraordinary salad bar with UNLIMITED shrimp and salmon…(want more? You can get many more helpings) and the endless meat servers arrive at your table along with the endless question: “ Clean plate sir?” You will SATISFIED & thankful that your meal and environment was: Well worth the price. Eat there tomorrow and you will thank me later.

This is truly a white glove restaurant. From the tablecloths, to the service, to the food, to the unobtrusive refilling of water, this place is just so special. All the food was very delicious. They have the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. The quail is very good too. Service was perfect. We all had the 8 oz filet special topped with shrimp over mashed potatoes and green beans. We all loved it.

This is the place I choose for every celebration. I recently had lunch at Toulouse to celebrate my birthday and then, a few days after, I had lunch with a friend who had never been there before. There’s just something about Toulouse that makes me happy - the atmosphere, especially when eating outside on the terrance, the food, the music. We shared the warm brie, then I had the wild salmon, and my friend had the duck. Everything was excellent. On my birthday I tried several desserts and loved them all, especially the chocolate mousse. As far as I’m concerned, this is the best restaurant in Houston, and I will always rwturn.

Chef Giancarlo and his beautiful wife Lisa have created a neighborhood gem where one feels like family instead of unknown diner. The Profumata salad is as delicious as it is pretty, the "Roman-style" lamb chops flavor to die for, pastas and risottos perfect, and last night's special Dover Sole was ethereal. The waitstaff are friendly and knowledgable and make the dining experience warm and inviting. Always such a pleasure coming here!

We celebrated my husband's birthday and the service was top notch! The staff was very attentive to our needs. Overall service was excellent. The waitress accidentally spilled a drink on our table...it was not a problem as accidents happen but the manager still insisted on giving us free appetizers. That was very nice and unnecessary. Highly recommend for you next dining experience!

When owner Johnny Carrabba set out on his next restaurant venture, he knew his vision would include the fond memories he had of his dear grandmother Grace Mandola. Grace, also known to the family as Mama, was a Sicilian woman born to immigrant parents in Louisiana. She had a flair for cooking, hospitality, and deep faith.

She was known to make bread from scratch every Saturday for her legendary three-hour Sicilian Sunday lunches; and, her newly established family roots in Louisiana added interesting flavors to her home cooked meals. The entire Mandola family, including her five children and fourteen grandchildren, was regularly greeted in her home with smells of warm bread, well brewed sauces and homemade soups. It was around her table that her family learned the true meaning and value of relationships, friendships and good food.

Grace’s NEVER fails to disappoint which is why it’s my absolute, most favorite restaurant. Ana greeted me at the front desk and she’s always warm and welcoming and our waitress Jackie was also awesome. Todd was the only thing missing but I know he works at night now.
