Bridgette Bar has somehow managed to pair an intimidate dinner party feeling with an exclusive experience, it feels a little like a fancy dinner party hosted at a friends, but with a menu and cocktail selection that could only be accomplished by professionals. The River Cafe is an iconic choice for a memorable evening or lunch that takes you away from the bustling downtown vibe to a hunting type lodge with a five star feel. Food was a chef special five course event that was timed in a relaxed manner, each . Each course was fantastic with many different tastes and all made us comment that one could make a meal of this! Portions were perfect so to enjoy and satisfy. Felt we eat healthy while spoiling our palettes! Good wine was available at a fair price,so not the case in many 5 star restaurants. What a gem in the heart of Calgary.

We went before the theatre…the location and timing were perfect. Our server, Rain (sp?), was very polite and quick to get anything we needed. He asked if we were going to the theatre and made sure we got everything promptly - but not rushed. The food was good and the portion sizes generous (to say the least). I probably didn’t need a main course after sharing an appetizer. I’d highly recommend Milestones.

Our party of 4 chose the Selkirk Grille in part because of the easy-to-access parking and ice-free walkways, but also because of the excellent food and general atmosphere. Today it was relatively quiet, perfect for 3 hearing aid wearers! The Bison Harvest Bowl, Buffalo Burger and Pumpkin Cheesecake were very tasty

The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. Today, the flavours and traditions of Alberta’s ranching heritage live on at the Bow Valley Ranche. Our Grand Salon holds approximately 110-120 guests. William Roper Hull and Senator Patrick Burns hold approximately 30-32 guests. Our John Glenn room, located in the upstairs, old master bedroom of the house, holds approximately 12 guests.

Finally tried Mina's breakfast last 3weeks ago. Been seeing the sign outside my building for months. The experience was really great. Food tasted good, the cheese bread, as always, is my favorite. I enjoyed the sweet tapioca (banana and dulce de leche). There are also more options from the buffet bar. I love that my coffee cup is always full. It was a small espresso cup and let me tell you it never went below half cup. The service was impeccable. Julia (?) Is very friendly, appears when you need her too. She makes sure everything is good without being intrusive. At that time there were only 3 groups of customers. Ambience was great. Good for a slow Sunday morning to enjoy a hearty belreakfast. Got a neighborhood discount too because I live in the same building. Alreadybplanning to bring my sister and nephews for breakfast next time when they visit yyc.

We went to Gyu kaku at a much later time on Christmas Eve and the service and food was efficient despite how busy it was. The initial food arriving was very fast but when it came time to switch the grill, paying the bill, and waiting on dessert, it took some time and the staff did their very best despite closing in the last 15min. I appreciate the staff for working through the holidays and we see everyone doing their best through the chaos.

We pre-ordered the Mega Bond platter for 10 people and there was more than enough to feed us all. The suggestion to pre-order platters for a large group is the way to go as we arrived and within minutes we were eating! Great food, location and friendly staff made this one of the best choices for a staff luncheon, thank you, we will be back!

The service was fabulous as soon as we entered the restaurant! Food was served quickly and the food that was supposed to be served hot was hot! I had the Hunan Kung Pao with 4 hunan peppers and it was wonderful!
