When it comes to atmosphere, Blacklock has more than the usual chophouse. Diners at this restaurant’s original location in the heart of Soho will find themselves tucking into generous stacks of charcoal-cooked chops in a building that once housed an iconic brothel! Now, however, there’s just plentiful cuts of Cornish meat, cooked to perfection and served with a range of heartily seasoned sides. We had such a lovely time dining here as a couple. The staff are outstanding and so polite and helpful. The bar staff are extremely knowledgeable and came to give an explanation about the alcohol choices. The food was really lovely and faultless. The feel inside the restaurant is very relaxed, we also went on a quieter evening. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would definitely visit again. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Never not gonna give love to Hawksmoor. I've been to most of their venues in London, but Air Street is by far my favourite - perhaps because it's the first one I ever visited. The January express menu is great and the £5 corkage on a Monday is simply a no brainer. Everyone we came into contact with was lovely and helpful and chatty and a pleasure to be around. I would eat here once I week if my wallet allowed it. Thank you as ever for a great experience.

Absolute diamond of a place to go to eat , our party consisted of 4 and our booking wasn't until 3.45 but we got there well early and they were more than happy for us to be seated and to order when ready. We ordered off the set menu and the food was ace, defnitely the best steak I've had, it was followed by the dessert as opposed to having the starter and mains and i couldn't fault it a single bit, all the staff were pleasant just unfortunate I didn't get any names to give them a specific mention ..thank you so much.

Blacklock is known for their quirky locations, and this City outpost is no exception. Situated in what was once the largest meat market in the City of London, diners can experience not just the signature chops for which the chain is known, but also an expanded menu of sides ranging from charred courgettes to coal-roasted beets. There’s also a large bar area offering cocktails and wine on tap. Despite the traditional location, Blacklock City doesn’t disappoint when it comes to fun and atmosphere.

I will always love Blacklock, I come here regularly, sometimes I have come here twice in one day. I love the pre chop bites, the steak sarnie, the all in. When I’m feeling like treating myself I love a house red and the cheesecake. The staff are always nice - thank you! My favourite restaurant in London.

Lovely spacious restaurant set back from road and not far from Victoria coach station.Very welcoming and helpful staff.Delicious lentil vegetarian wellington with roast vegetables, followed by Treacle tart.Partner had tasty roast beef.Would definitely recommend.
