64 Goodge Street is a new restaurant from Woodhead Restaurant Group, which opened in early August 2023. A former travel agent in our beloved Fitzrovia (64’s older siblings Portland and Clipstone are just round the corner), we were hugely excited by the opportunity this blank slate of a site afforded us.

We’ve been able to build from the bottom up, and therefore design every inch of space to meet our hope for 64 Goodge Street. Namely, that it is a space in which guests feel utterly taken care of.

We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We very much hope to see you soon.

Went with a friend and the staff was fantastic. Especially one waiter/chef called Benjamin, bless him he was only 18 but he really delivered and made us feel welcome. There was one server called Rufus though, think I went to school with him?!

lovely afternoon tea. Food was great and the service /staff were amazing. It is a bit of a strange location in the middle of the basement shop floor and feels a bit cramped and noisy. The afternoon tea is enough for two people so better value for money than it looks on the menu.. we booked in advance which is probably a good idea unless you are just dropping by as there was a queue for a table.

We had a fantastic dining experience with friends at Kioku yesterday. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was perfect, and the wine selection was impressive. Although a bit confused at the start of our evening, the personnel made up for that later on. We were complimented with some wagyu temaki, and everything that came from the kitchen was outstanding. We landed at Paternoster after a week filled with all the ethnic foods and found this perfect spot for more traditional food. The ribeye was on point. A great find behind the very busy Edgware Road. A small, quaint basic restaurant, but the food was authentic. It was constantly busy, so I am presuming it is testimony to the quality of the food. When I arrived (5.20pm), the restaurant was not open (5.30pm opening). It was raining, and despite me standing outside getting wet, I was a little perturbed that they did not open the door and invite me in - I found that very strange!! Apart from that, the staff were very attentive and sometimes a little too eager to remove our plates, even though we had not finished. I do not like my hot food to be put on cold plates, a little aggravating, but something that should be addressed.

This was my second visit to The Sussex,the first being two months ago.I once again can not fault the service which on both occasions I’ve found it to be efficient,friendly,warm,welcoming & knowledgeable.On this my second visit i didn’t enjoy the food quite as much as i had on my first visit.We chose the Local And Wild Set Menu,which is what i had thoroughly enjoyed on my first visit,and there was nothing wrong with any of the courses served but possibly some of the dishes were less interesting to my palate this time….But it was still a very good experience,my guest loved it,and we will definitely return. I ordered a bottle of their Nutbourne Vineyard Blush rose to enjoy with our meal and we both really enjoyed it and thought it to be excellent value.

A gem of a restaurant. A warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere. The set lunch menu was excellent value, although a starter and main would have been enough. Steak was excellent, tender and well cooked, one of my best ever. The burger is worthy of trying, super taste! The FOH staff were very friendly and helpful. What was also very positive was the extensive range of wines by the glass, so pairing with food was made so much easier and added immense value and experience to the food. Is this a great restaurant? well, I intend to return to confirm it is!! Thanks to FOH and BOH teams, perfect lunch

I love Launceston Place. Every dish is different and bursting with flavour. Such a wonderful place to eat with friends. I was so disappointed to hear that it is closing.
