Amazing food, the cheddar souffle with leek in rich cream sauce is so so tasty, presented perfect, my friend had belly of pork looked so good, you won't be disappointed, you get what you pay for. I had cheese cake for dessert nicely presented with small rich flavours, perfect amount of food. I live very far away but it's worth the journey. Lovely friendly staff, beautiful decor. Perfect.

The Boatman, is Windsor’s only pub on the river at the foot of Windsor Castle overlooking Eton Bridge. Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from.
The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

Serious meat lovers can expect 45 day aged native and rare breed steak on offer as well as a hero dish of Beef Wellington for two. Fish is of course wild, sustainable, and British, sourced from day boats on the South coast with the daily catch delivered straight to the door in a matter of hours. Plenty of delicious choices on the menu; all those we chose were extremely tasty and more than came up to expectations. This was our second visit here after a very good experience earlier in the year and we were certainly not disappointed. Everything, including the warm welcome and friendly, knowledgeable service and of course the superb food and drink was excellent and we can’t wait to return! Our meat comes from ABR butchers, based in Bearsden.

We ordered from the Christmas lunch menu. Two of us are vegetarian and one is vegan, unusually there were plenty options. For the nut roast you get to choose from the carvery veg and it's all clearly labelled. Veggie gravy, roasties, stuffing and loads of other options were available. Absolutely wonderful as always, the food was brilliant and everyone who served us was lovely. They also put a candle in my husbands dessert for his birthday, which I really appreciated. However, they absolutely need to do something about the toilets. In the middle of a cold, wet, winters evening it’s really unpleasant needing to go outside into the mud to go to the toilet in a shed in the garden centre. Not really appropriate for a £100 a head dining experience. The only dark spot on an otherwise lovely evening.

San Juan is a tiled tapas bar with traditional decor, serving authentic dishes and imported beer and wine. We aim to provide a little piece of Spain in Manchester.

We sat in the heated outdoor space, staff as attentive as they would be in doors, food excellent - the best tapas place we have visited in a long time. Definitely worth a visit and we will be back again :)

In 2016 the Old School BBQ was born, using a freshly imported 1982 Bluebird International American school bus from Arizona as a mobile kitchen.

The bus was converted from a traditional seated bus to a fully functional kitchen, with smokers and griddles to cook low and slow BBQ food. The OSB journey had begun, trading from humble beginnings on a local pub car park in Failsworth.

Our little yellow bus soon became a familiar landmark and we became more and more popular with lunch goers who wanted freshly prepared, appetising food served with a smile. Soon demand meant that we would be more often than not greeting our customers with a "sold out" sign, so it was time to expand.

So here we are, with a covered seated area serving our firm favourites, complemented with a fully licenced bar and WC facilities... did we mention the stage? That's right, we also provide live music from various acts from near and far - we are sure you will find our eatery to be like no other!

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

Rocky Bottoms started out as an 1800s brick kiln with a purpose to fire bricks. Eventually the brick kiln was unable to compete with larger competitors and closed down after WW2. Since this time the brick kiln has offered itself as agricultural storage until it collapsed and stood derelict.

In 2008 the brick kiln’s potential and need of restoration was spotted by local fishing family; The Matthews. After years of love and attention, Rocky Bottoms, as we know it today was born. Our doors opened in May 2015, just in time for the start of the crab season. We deliver local shellfish from pot to plate in a laid back environment. Christmas Eve lunch at the White Hart was a delightful experience, brimming with warmth and festivity. We commenced our meal with an array of tempting nibbles: delectable Pancetta and Cheddar croquettes, perfectly crispy fried squid, and a selection of freshly baked breads. Each bite was exquisite, though I must admit to a tinge of disappointment at the absence of the beef dripping butter from the menu. Truth be told, my cardiologist is likely relieved, as that indulgent delight was nothing short of dangerously sublime. For the main course, my wife and son indulged in the renowned Kelmscott pork, complete with crackling and a medley of seasonal vegetables. My wife, in particular, loves this dish, often declaring it ‘divine.’ I opted for the venison accompanied by silky mash, which was equally splendid. The service was impeccable, a testament to the dedication of the staff, and I have no complaints in that regard. Our server, Harry, recognized me from a previous visit, which left me wondering whether that was a testament to his keen memory or a bad reflection on my ‘could do better’ behaviour. Harry stands out as a rare gem among young men these days. He is bright, exceptionally polite, engaging, and articulate. I worry that once he departs for university, the White Hart will feel his absence profoundly. Overall, it was a lovely meal, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to such an enjoyable experience. Merry Christmas White Hart

Welcome to The Rose Inn
The Rose Inn is located in the beautiful rural area of North Warwickshire in the village of Baxterley with stunning views over Leicestershire, Birmingham and on
into the far distance.

The Rose sits opposite the site of the old Baddesley colliery, behind the village green and duck pond with an orchard and large relaxing area overlooking the pond.

Originally believed to be a 'Gentleman's residence', the building dates back to the 18th century and has served as a courthouse, jail, mortuary and for more than a hundred years as a public house.

Once again an outstanding 5* experience: a tasty leak and potato soup, a perfectly executed creamy pappardelle with chicken and my usual favourite, a warm mini brownie with ice-cream to finish 😋 The service was impeccable, attentive and friendly and the atmosphere just perfect.

The Cat Inn is a 16th century free house set in the picturesque village of West Hoathly, a hilltop village set in the heart of the Sussex countryside. It is in within easy distance from the towns of East Grinstead and Haywards Heath and only 25 minutes from Gatwick Airport.

The Pub with its oak beams and two inglenook fireplaces proffers a warm and cosy atmosphere in the winter, whilst our terrace is perfect to enjoy a drink and food in the summer months. Being a free house we pride ourselves in the quality of our real ale, and concentrate on local breweries, such as Harvey's of Lewes and other micro breweries. Our food is cooked to order, using fresh, seasonal and where possible locally sourced ingredients. Our menus change on a regular basis and we also offer a small selection of seasonal specials on a daily basis.

We welcome children over the age of 7. Dogs are welcome in the "pub" area of the Cat, they are not permitted in the dining room

Lovely annual pre christmas dinner for 4 at the cat in the bar restaurant ... staff as ever were delightful we all had steak with truffle chips delicious, deserts fantastic and the pork belly starter was to die for! Washed down with a delightful pinotage.. we'll be back for sure

We love devour and have been many times. There was an error with our food but we spoke to the staff and they were very responsive to sorting it out to make sure we were happy. They were very busy but still very happy to sort out the issue. Would highly recommend. Very nice setting and atmosphere

This has become a popular venue for us and we have eaten at the Star 3 times in the last 6 months. Great location for all times of the year. The staff are efficient and professional and the menu has some good choices. Portions are a good size and there is a great wine list too.

The Crathorne Arms is a great pub in a wonderful community spirited village, lovely people, Lord Crathorne himself couldn’t be more supportive, how lucky we are.

Our life has come a full circle from a town pub in Middlesbrough (well Eugene has) to the tontine (McCoys Hotel, Restaurant and Bistro) to a village pub in Crathorne, Ten Minutes from Middlesbrough.

We live above the pub, our furniture and furnishings live downstairs as they can’t and won’t fit up the stairs! So the canoe has the condiments, the bookcases our books, the huge sofa with big squashy cushions to sink into, tin lanterns reflecting patterns on the ceiling, this all makes for a homely feel and that’s what we would like to create along with good wholesome food and drink.

Of Course the staff, front of house and kitchen are all great, hardworking, smiley, enthusiastic young people and a joy to work with.
