A unique experience in Houston full of elegance and refinement. The service is outstanding and the ambiance very cosy. There is a lot of creativity in the plates and everything is delightful and very well presented. The story around the different courses is very interesting and the whole experience is real journey. Once again we were delighted by the chef(s) at the Sushi Bar. Our schedule doesn’t allow a formal Omakase experience but, the Chef’s Table never disappoints! We were treated to a wide range of the most wonderful seasonal seafood. The offerings were fantastic, some of the most delicate and palate pleasing selections. When we can’t have Omakase, we literally ask the chefs to surprise us. They always exceed our expectations. We make sure we dine with them every time we visit Houston .

FG has a diverse and simple menu. Everything I have tried has been good. The tenured staff and management are excellent. Bar selection is vast and there is nice happy hour menu with drinks and food.

Milton was a great server; kept on top of the flow of the meal. The Thanksgiving day meal special was excellent! Nice to have a taste of prime rib, beef and turkey. Sides were excellent as well. Good value for the price.

My first visit to this restaurant and I was wow’ed!!! Everything we ordered was amazing. My husband and I split the roasted oysters, the mixed greens and the eggs benedict….. we had to make ourselves stop eating. It was all perfection personified! I can’t wait to go again and try some of the other dishes. Also, the live music added just the right touch to the atmosphere, not too loud. We really enjoyed this talented local musician. Not to mention all of this and an incredible view of the beach!
