About the restaurant

Even though it channels a childhood dream, The Treehouse is well-suited for a grown-up date—or just a casual neighborhood hang. Its colorful exterior and wrap-around patio (with a dedicated outdoor bar) add to the playful vibes, which also extend to the New American menu. Order the whipped ricotta in truffle oil and honey to start and consider mains like koji steak served with cheesy mashed potatoes, crispy mushrooms, and herb butter.

My wife and I always revisit our first date that we had at Treehouse during the holidays! Treehouse is a cozy and quant neighborhood staple in 5 points. This year our visit was nothing short of spectacular. The holiday decor was fun and definitely set the mood, and our service was welcoming and friendly. Our waitress, Kaytee had fun recommendations and was very hospitable. One of the things I love about a tentative server is that they don't interrupt conversation and they are perceptive enough to know when to get orders in and ask if we need another beverage. We started with the brussels sprouts, burrata, and chickpea fries. The brussels sprouts had a good flavor with a little kick, but the highlight of the appetizers was definitely the chickpea fries. Interesting flavor, and if you love tzatziki you will love this dish! For our entrées I did the pork chop, and my wife did the scallops. The scallops were definitely an appetizer so not a full dish, which was fine for my wife. My pork chop was cooked to perfection and very tender (could cut it with a butter knife). The wine selection is always on the smaller side, but they do keep the choices interesting and good for food pairings. We definitely miss the gourmet ice cream sandwich being on the menu for dessert, but we did the Coconut Panna Cotta, and it was a nice lighter dessert to compliment the cordials. Always a lovely evening at Treehouse. Thank you :)

About the restaurant

Geist is one of the few remaining examples of Old Nashville—with a modern twist. The chic interior (a former blacksmith shop) maintains an industrial feel, but the outdoor space can’t be missed: Geist’s full patio and courtyard, called the Champagne Garden, has an outdoor fireplace, wrought-iron fencing, and ambient string lights. It’s a beautiful backdrop for digging into reimagined Southern dishes like pork chops, roasted chicken, and vegetable risotto.

We went last night to celebrate my daughter's engagement. We were seated immediately. The restaurant is beautiful. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The cocktails were unique and delicious. We ordered the artichoke appetizer and the arancini. Both were delicious. My wife ordered the trout, I had the short ribs, my daughter had the hangar steak and her fiance had the burger. The presentation of each course was beautiful. The food was delicious and we ate with gusto. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great food experience.

Loved my experience here! They have great service and high quality food. The food was flavorful and delicious without sacrificing quality. It has a fun atmosphere, perfect for date night or a night out with friends. I got the salmon and my husband got the lobster pasta, both were excellent. We got the brownie for dessert (gluten free) and it was delicious.
