First time there, went during happy hour. Delicious margaritas, I had three different flavours, all good. The guacamole was made at the table was so good we ordered another bowl. Tacos were a great price and tasty.

Food and cocktails were delicious, you could tell the food is made with quality ingredients. Our server was lovely, attentive and knowledgeable. We went on a Monday evening so it was quiet. The ambience is cozy but elegant. Only thing to note was our entrees came out at different times so my friend was waiting for my entree to come out for a while so we could eat together. Great night overall !

Our waiter recommended we order 2 appetizers and 2 mains, which would have been too much for us to eat as the main courses are substantial. We're glad we didn't take his recommendation. Service was fine up to and including our after-dinner coffees, then our waiter disappeared, It was almost 11pm (we'd arrived for dinner at shortly before our 9pm reservation time) so by then we may have been the last patrons in the restaurant. Did our waiter forget we were there? We flagged down a waitress who was cleaning up the other tables and she brought us our bill. We'll return to the restaurant as the ambiance and food were excellent and they serve dinner late, but we hope our service is better the next time. Or we'll ask for the bill when we get our coffees.

My friends and I regularly visit the Merchant Kitchen prior to Jets games. Last night I had a visitor in from Columbia. I raved about the Korean Fried Chicken to him, however, when we received the Kitchen it was overdone and dry, not juicy like it usually is. I probably should have sent it back but we thought we might not get a new order prior to when we had to leave for the game. The Dandan Noodles were excellent as usual as was the Tempura Shrimp.

I was impressed. My wife ordered the pasta of the day or something like that. It had foie gras, truffle mixed in a cream sauce with duck. Crazy good. Burger was ok. Little over done. The place is pricey but the ambiance makes up for it. The wine cellar and bar look awesome.

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, we offer two seatings - between 5pm and 6pm; as well as between 745pm and 8:45pm (with each table allocated 2hr 30min). Please note that our menu for dinner is a multi-course, prix fixe menu ($115 per guest).

Lunch reservations are available between 11:30am and 2pm, with our lunch a la carte menu being offered. Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am

Our server made our experience very special with his above and beyond level of attention. The mimosa bar was a wonderful delight, especially with a non-alcoholic bubble option. Everyone enjoyed their entrees as well as the buffet and don't forget to save room for candy on the way out!!
