The atmosphere is nice especially during the Christmas season. The restaurant was less than 1/2 full and it took over an hour to get our entrees. The kitchen is extremely slow . . . and the quality/flavor of the food is disappointing at best. Taco Bell & Del Taco both have much better tasting food. Other than the chips and salsa, we were disappointed with every dish we ordered.

Delicious chips and homemade salsa. Great margaritas, although pricey ($16-20). Food was average except for the wonderful chili verde (pork) dish, that was amazing. Worth going to because of the hotel's experience at holiday time with lights and all, but it was very over-priced for basic Mexican food. Dishes were $25-40ish. Service was pretty good though. Waiter was very busy, but food arrived quickly.

Steven our waiter made our service feel personalized. The food is always amazing ! Big nod to pastry who did the flan and creme brulee! Margaritas, top shelf were awesome. Bad experience in presidents lounge was made up by the seasoned staff at Las Capenadas!

Not an authentic Mexican restaurant, so if you love Mexican food, don’t eat here. I was very disappointed, wanted this to be a beautiful experience for my husband and I… but unfortunately it wasn’t. My husband received the wrong fish, waitress said : the fish was to be Salmon but it was not at all that.. so he tried it and the fish was very dry with no flavor. Had to switch it out, while I waited (my food was getting cold) I didn’t want to eat alone. We had already waited for an hour just to get our food already.. he changed his to the ribeye steak… it came more raw then medium rare.. I had ordered the same. The steak itself had no flavor at all.. the sauce it came with had no taste , only oil and cilantro.. and that was a $50 plate… not at all of what I was expecting. Chillis has a better steak than this! The hostess made it noticeable that they even stopped our hostess in the middle of seating us to figure out their seating areas.. it. Was just over all bad. They also had to tell the table next to us “twice” that they had to leave.. because they were taking too long, but they were still buying drinks.. If there is a time limit at each table, then they should advise the guest! Not embarrass them later by telling they need to leave or go to the bar instead, in front of everyone. This will be the. First and last for us.
