This was our first time experiencing this lovely French restaurant:-) We had the escargot with marrow that was incredible. They provide bread with this outstanding butter. We enjoyed the muscles as well with this delicious sauce. Last but not least we ordered the Amish chicken on veggies and mashed potatoes. We will return every month to this spectacular French establishment. Lovely service.

Beautiful and quaint restaurant nestled in heart of Brooklyn. Love the open kitchen in the back- you can see the whole operation. The setting is very intimate, warm and inviting. Feels like your going into a friends place for dinner with coat rack at the door. The staff are very friendly- the food is good but not great. Had the tartare, branzino and the duck. While tartar was good- the portion was overwhelming and the crustini was 1: burnt, 2: insufficient for the portion of beef provided. The tartar was $24, price is not the issue but I get the sense there is compulsion to serve more to justify the price which I believe runs contrary to the fundamental appeal of a tartar especially in the case of raw beef. The duck breast was served medium rare- but the duck itself felt very raw- bloody and chewy fat- which was not rendered to be palatable- overall felt like warm/cold, I couldn’t go in for more than two bites. Tried to give it the benefit of the doubt- but could not proceed. Duck came with side of broccoli and cauliflower- with mashed potatoes that had a dehydrated orange peel with it and on the side some orange segments with a thyme sprig on top. The vegetables were overcooked and rather bland. Potatoes however were nice and fluffy. I suppose it’s an omage to duck l-orange. The orange segments tasted as though from a can or jar. Overall for the duck dish- 6/10. The bronzino was good- but I was surprised with the pairing. French cuisine is not known for using jasmine or basmati rice. The fish was cooked great- but the sauce on top takes away the appeal of the light flaky fish. the crisp of skin and the sautéed broccoli or greens on top of the rice followed by the fish then the sauce- turned it into more of a steamed situation. Lastly, your served a fillet of bronzino- not the whole fish, for the price and pairing- no value add or sensible. Overall 5/10. Otherwise, great ambiance and really takes you away.

Wow! What an absolutely stunning dining experience! From the warm family atmosphere to the elevated cuisine bursting with flavor, every moment was a delight. The top-notch customer service made it even better! This was my first visit, but I can guarantee it won’t be my last. I can’t wait to come back for more!

So happy to find this Brooklyn gem on Thanksgiving during a long layover. Food was cooked to perfection and so delicious. I highly recommend the beef Wellington. I don’t know if it is a regular menu item.

This is our favorite French restaurant. The service can be pretty slow since it’s a small team, but if you’re patient it’s well worth it!

Love this place. Excellent food, but also an excellent vibe, reflecting its engaging owner and the wall full of pics of various social renegades.
