- NNeilLondon •55 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis historic pub set in the rolling hills between Ashford and Hythe is a delight. While the menu is very similar pubs in the same Pickled Egg Group the ambience and quality of staff puts it head and shoulders above the rest. While the menu is unadventurous it does deliver good food at reasonable value. Deserves its reputation as one of the best pubs in KentMore infoFive Bells InnPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Monks Horton•4.6
- AAngelaDevon •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis was our first visit. The menu was fresh and interesting. We chose the arancini which were delicious and enjoyed a very tasty venison croquette, followed by delicious pheasant breast for the main course. My husband had the cheese board and I enjoyed the chocolate fondant for dessert. The ambiance was lively, the music at a good level- not too loud. For a Thursday evening, it was busy, but the waiting staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely return.More infoThe Duck - CanterburyPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Canterbury•4.5
