The food was phenomenal and beyond our expectations. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only downfall was they accommodated a large 20+ party with 4 kids under the age of about 4, one of which screamed for the last half hour of our meal. We were going to have an after dinner drink but decided to just pay and leave as the screaming child and loud party ruined the environment. It would be nice if they reserved parties of that size at certain times or in a secluded area. Otherwise everything was great.

Everything was fantastic, service was exceptional! Only comment I’d make is that the rice that came with the fish of the day had no flavour at all but everything else was delicious.

Three of us enjoyed a wonderful lunch today Jan 9th. There were two menus to order ftom: Lunch menu & Regular menu. We ordered from both menus. Shared 3-appetizers of Arancini, Eggplant meatballs, Buratta cheese from the Lunch menu. Then the Vegetable Rissoto and Orcieto from the Lunch menu and one pasta dish from the Dinner menu. Coffees, Teas, Espresso Machiato, Creme Brule completed a delicious meal. Very accommodating and professional waitstaff. Garage parking directly across the street but street parking available.

I go to Heirloom quite a bit. Sometimes lunch. Sometimes dinner. The place is lovely and the food, although better than average really could be better. I find the menu somewhat limited. More offerings would be nice. I’m a “2 starters” person who is partial to Burrata and tuna tartare. The Burrata served here has totally unnecessary wild greens of some sort and grilled squash, also a distraction. How about more tomatoes, fresh basil, larger Burrata and some fabulous balsamic vinegar? As for tuna tartare, not on the menu. Work on the menu a bit to come up to the caliber of the place!

The best restaurant In New Haven ! Staff is attentive and very pleasant. Irsis made sure that my husband's birthday dinner was very special! Chef Vincent is creating delishes plates ! Try polenta!
