The Wardroom is situated on a prominent corner in historic downtown Easton, Maryland, in what was formerly The Brick Hotel — considered a marvel of its time in the mid-19th century. The gastronomic, European-style shop and bistro offers handmade pastas, house-cured meats, and artisanal chocolates from top French chocolatier, La Maison du Chocolat. Both a pasta and wine bar, the Wardroom’s menu consists of authentic Italian pasta dishes, cheese and charcuterie plates customized for each guest, and seasonal salads and antipasto dishes.     It is always a lovely miniature vacation visiting Bas Rouge, we absolutely love it here. I think we could live on this particular beautiful block! Every detail is perfect, the staff is extremely professional and also very welcoming and friendly, which we really enjoy. It seems that each of the establishments in this group find the perfect meeting place between the two… never stuffy and too formal but you’re made to feel very special here And that is all before the food! The bread… the amazing wine list, the beauty of each exquisite plate - the plates themselves actually, lol! But the artistry and presentation of each dish is truly world class. We have returned several times, even often driving from Baltimore without plans to spend the night in town - it’s just one of the loveliest places to come for a beautiful meal and experience we can think of!

    Always my go to place when meeting people from both sides of the Bay Bridge. Comfortable atmosphere, good food and time to catch up on each others news. Monday 1/20 was not crowded, so wait staff took some time to serve us. (Hostess supposedly forgot to assign a staff member to us). Once we got "initial contact" she was attentive, pleasant and gave us space to have private conversations. Great place summer or winter. Good views and warm fireplace.
