- CCarolVIPNebraska •8 reviews5.0Dined todayVery good food. All steaks were cooked perfectly. Smoked Old Fashioned was great. Scalloped and Poblano potatoes cooked in cast iron were delicious! Very generous slice of carrot cake looks amazing but we brought it home and haven’t eaten it yet.More infoJ. - RrobinNebraska •4 reviews5.0Dined todayWe went on Friday night at 6:00 pm. Not very crowded but still a little noisy. Marissa was excellent as our server. Our salads were large portions and delicious. Our prime rib was cooked to perfection and generous cuts. We ordered the chocolate soufflé which came with 3 toppings; fruit compote, chocolate and vanilla cream. It was light and fluffy. Overall a wonderful experience. Pricey but very good quality food and service.More info801 Chophouse - OmahaPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Downtown / Old Market•4.8
- BBeckyNebraska •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWhat a terrific way to have a quiet and intimate up-scale dinner for a reasonable price. The students are rock stars before their time with menu creation and execution of the courses and wine pairings. Great service, also students. Chefs have to learn how to be front of house too as well as back of house. No details large or small are overlooked, either. Fabulous experience and the kind that is paved as such with 6 courses that conversation can be had and courses enjoyed instead of rushed through.More infoSage Student Bistro - Institute for the Culinary ArtsPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Downtown / Old Market•4.7
- CCharlieNebraska •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoMy ONLY complaint is it got a bit loud, but the place was packed, so that is understandable. Ajok was our server. Very friendly, and knowledgeable, and treated us very well. We started with drinks. The sangrias were a solid A. We also had the Fig Sours which were an A+. The sour was a nice balance to a drink that easily could have gone too sweet! We were at lunch so we split some apps and 1 entree. Everything was intelligently done and wonderfully tasty. We had the 4 Spread Sampler as one app. it consists of a selection of Hummus, Muhammara with peppers and pomegranates, Labneh (strained yogurt), and Baba Ganoush. I could not get enough of the Muhammara! Cindy loved the Baba Ganoush. The crispy potatoes were exactly as described. The lemon and the aleppo chili were a great flavor combination. We also enjoyed the 4-piece falafel. They were the most distinct tasting I have ever tried. Their bright, beautiful green insides just glowed, and the crispiness was SPOT ON! We selected a chicken kabob entree to split. The chicken was dark meat marinated in yogurt and was incredible. I usually do not enjoy dark chicken meat as much as breasts but in this case...I changed my mind once I tasted it. We ordered the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. The best sticky toffee pudding I had ever eaten was in England...until today. The caramelization was incredible on this and the salted ice cream on top was just so delicious! Not the cheapest lunch ever, but that was not what we were looking for. We did overorder and ended up taking much of it home with us as we expected we would. I like to try a wide variety of food on my first visit to a restaurant. Clio came highly recommended to us, and did not disappoint in any way. Today was our first dining experience, I can assure you, it is not our last!More infoClioPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Omaha•4.9
- DDavidVIPDallas - Fort Worth •26 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoHad dinner mid-week, second visit. Service was fantastic, just the right balance of attention. Food was excellent - had pasta dish at recommendation of server and was very tasty. Gin martini was well made with excellent blue cheese olives. I'll be back.More infoMemoirPrice: Expensive• American• Omaha•4.8
