Restaurants near Winsor Dam

Things have changed since Max restaurant group was sold. The fully loaded baked potato used to be a major event when it arrived at the table. It could feed 4 people because it was so massive. Not anymore. The one served last night hardly had anything on it. No sour cream no bacon- three globs of orange cheese and some chives and that was it. Martini was served in a margarita glass? Steak was okay but used to be outstanding and it was overcooked. The tuna was excellent. The wedge salad was not a wedge but on romaine lettuce pieces. This was an odd experience. Staff was helpful and friendly. I hope this review is read and considered. Love the Max restaurants and hope their return to their previous ways.

Always a pleasure to dine with the B. Napoli folks. We have brought vendors from all over the world as well as the US and we continue to receive the most remarkable compliments from them all. Thank you for your Outstanding Performance!!

Good as always. This time were did three apps (mussels, calamari and baked brie) with wine and beer.

Warm, welcoming location with tasty food and wonderful service. I had the chicken pot pie which was great. There’s also a nice bakery next to the tavern and a nice fireplace in the tavern.

Fantastic evening celebrating XMAS with our daughter and her roommate from MHC! The staff could not have been more gracious in allowing us to decorate our mini Christmas tree on the table while waiting for the delicious food. Thank you Johnny’s for a wonderful and memorable evening at our daughter’s home away from home!
