Restaurants near Winchester Visitors Center

We went here for our Anniversary and enjoyed the restaurant atmosphere.

This was our second visit to Village Square Restaurant and we enjoyed it. It’s good but not great. The ambiance is the best thing going. Comfortable, dim lighting, active fireplace, brick walls…feels a bit like a Colorado ski lodge. We’ve only dined here for lunch. The food is solid. (We’ve reviewed the dinner menu, which seems more special.) Martinis were done nicely, although the pours aren’t generous. We started with a dozen raw oysters, nice presentation. For entrees, my wife enjoyed the pot roast French dip. Good dish. I had the lobster roll. Also good. Devlin, our server, was very nice, personable, but service was slow at times. Overall, a positive but unremarkable dining experience. Even though we haven’t been here for dinner, I’d recommend Village Square “blindly” before doing the same for lunch.

Good food and overall great experience. The staff were very attentive and courteous. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Overall it was a wonderful experiance. We tried the six course tasting menu. The serving staff was attentive, the food was some of the best we've had, and it felt very much worth the price.

Loved BLT! More like country ham slices than bacon. The side salad was excellent! Toasted bread was perfect and held the sandwich together well. Service was a 10! Beautiful space ready for the Holidays! Ready to go again. Great place to lunch with friends.
