Beauty & Essex has an innovative design that starts in the restaurant’s entrance, a well-curated modern-day pawn shop replete with a saxophone, boombox, quirky artifacts, vintage treasures, and an eclectic array of “one-off” pieces of jewelry. Food was great. Almost everything on the menu was gluten free which was amazing. The place is very nice inside, but we were sat in a dark area which was a little hard to see. Also a little hard to hear each other talk from the noise of other people seating close to us. Service was decent.
