- LLornaAngus/Fife •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAlways a happy, enjoyable treat to eat here, usually when family are visiting and can accommodate us when we number 8! Special request always for mozzarella starter especially by teenage grandsons! Menu is varied and always great choice although we sometimes revert back to our favourite of chicken fried sandwich!More infoRoo's Leap MontrosePrice: Moderate• Australian• Montrose•4.7
- LLauraAberdeen/Aberdeenshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoAnother fantastic meal here! We arrived a little early for our booking but we were taken to a table really promptly. The menu had a great choice. Meal was fantastic - completely defeated by the mac and cheese. Server was great - even ran to get me a spoon to eat my take away pudding as we still had to get more Christmas shopping done!More infoMaggies Grill - Marischal SquarePrice: Moderate• Cajun• Aberdeen•4.8
- LLizGlasgow/Lanarkshire •10 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoThe food was good when we got it. We waited about 50 minutes for our food but the manager did the right thing and without a complaint from us he deducted 25% off the bill. So that was the right thing to do. The restaurant wasn’t that busy but still a good atmosphere and nice vibeMore infoThe SaintPrice: Moderate• British• St Andrews•4.3
- SSiobhanAngus/Fife •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoHighly recommend the Tolbooth. Went here recently for a date night with my boyfriend. The service and food were amazing. Quality of food compared to price is very good. I had the oysters to start and my partner had the shellfish bisque. For mains we had the blade of beef and I was going to have the hake but with the fish markets being all over the place I opted for the cod which came with the same accompaniments as the hake. The piece of cod and beef we received was a very good portion. Everything was delicious. For desserts we had the salted pecan cookie and the Christmas pudding both were lovely. Good portions good food good service! My only quibble is I wish there was more options for single glasses of Rose. It was nice but a little more choice would be grand. We will be back!More infoThe Tolbooth RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Kincardineshire•4.8

Extensive choice of accompanying wines. Fruh Kolsh as excellent choice for an alcohol free beer. Deserts are superb.
