Lovely experience! Wonderful appetizers, food and dessert! FYI one of the best Dirty Martini’s I have every had!

Brunch at Sheldon Inn is always wonderful because the food is of the highest quality restaurant in Elk Grove, rivaling Boulevard Bistro. We had the Farmer's Breakfast, which consists of two eggs as you like, sourdough toast, bacon, ham,, linguica, and breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions. Everything was wonderful except the toast -- Sheldon Inn really needs to upgrade its toast to buttered wheat toast as at Black Bear diner, instead of that hard, difficult to digest sourdough toast a(without butter) that they serve. I almost choked trying toi eat it and it tasted like week old bread to me. The rest of the breakfast is wonderful, except for this one item that Sheldon Inn management really needs to change. We sat at a table in the bar, which does make it a bit difficult to hear others at your table but it is a nice and warm environment. We could not get into the dining room because of the Valentine Day crowd and the courtyard, which is so lovely and needly magical in the summertime, was not really a consideration, given the cool temperatures and rainy weather, which will continue likely for three to four weeks. Allin all, a wonderful Elk Grove tradition that I recommend to everyone in the Sacramento - Stockton area.

My wife and I first experience at Ruth Chris was on August of 2024 to celebrate her birthday where we met out server Kim who made our experience wonderful. We decided to return the day after VDay (2025) for a late celebration and luckily she was our server once again, And even after 6 months had passed she not only remembered us but remembered our entire order. Kim’s energy, personality and customer service is wonderful it’s hard to find people with such positive welcoming qualities. We will definitely continue to make the 1hour 30minute drive not only for the food but for Kim. Thank you Kim for being so kind and making our experiences so amazing.

Phenomenal steak and lobster. Food was outstanding and so was the service. They even took note that I had indicated on my reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and threw in a few extra touches. Not too noisy, despite being in the middle of a casino.

I proposed to my girlfriend this evening at this very tremendous place. The environment was romantic, atmosphere was friendly, employees were coordinated. Everything was just perfect.
