Callenders is a modern , casual style dining bistro. From a romantic meal for two, to a celebration dinner for forty. The best of local produce cooked to order for you. The surroundings are relaxed and easy going. Large potted plants occupy the free spaces and original water-colours by local artists hang on the walls. Table tops are bare and minimalist set with condiments, cutlery and fresh cut flower stems. Such a lovely place to meet friends for coffee and a bite to eat. From the minute you walk through the door you’re greeted with a smile and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Amazing coffee and food. I’ve also been for the tapas which is equally as amazing! Will be back very soon.

We enjoyed a very nice roast dinner this afternoon, in fact my wife and I agreed it was the best we had had as we like to go for a roast at least one Sunday in the month. Unfortunately we didn’t do it justice as we had a prawn cocktail starter which was also very nice but filling. I’m sure we will return in the not too distant future.
